King's Crab Shack, Rockwall TX

This place is never open according to their store hours. And the service sucks big time. Food is not that great unfortunately. I highly recommend people not to come to this place and go get some seafood somewhere else.

People are sleeping on there Shrimp and crab boil. They are amazing. I have been there about four times. I have not had anything else so I can’t say anything about the other items. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. I have been to several seal food restaurants, but this one here is amazing. Pricey though, but amazing.

Seriously, good food. I had blue soft shell po boy, and it was really good. This is creole seasond, so be ready for some spice. If you have not eaten here, you're missing out. It's much better than the big chain places. It has a cool vibe to it also.

The food is freaken awesome. The price is fairly low compare to other seafood places. The service is not that great only one waiter, place not that fancy but it's doable. The Cajun crab, jumbo shrimp with potatoes and corn, is to die for. Cajun fries were amazing. Way better than Joe's Crab Shack. It's cheaper to order beer by the bucket. Ordered the Cajun crab medium (spicy it is so be warned) my daughter ordered the mild (sissy) much better. I love spicey food but this is pretty spicey. Catfish and Cajun firs are cooked to perfection and come out freaken hot! If you love great food but don't care about fancy cater to you place you will this restaurant. Food is amazing. I always come back.

Didnt rate the food because we never ate there. This was our first time and when we sat down and ordered. We noticed it was hot and others were sweating. The waitress stated that their air conditioning went out. Okay cool, it happens. My husband went to the bathroom to was his hands and no soap was available. The table wasnt clean and we asked for something to clean the table with. I noticed that they had two fans running but it was in the back on the employees. Which I felt it should of been in the middle of the restaurant so the air can reach all over. The waitress brought my husbands soda out when he went to the bathroom. He sat down and was sweating. He told me they dont have air or soap and asked if I wanted to leave. I'm like yes, because your eating seafood in the heat and flies were flying around and to top it all off. My husband went to let our server know we was just going to leave and she charged him for the soda, which he left on the table and never got to drink it. This was a terrible experience and we definitely will not return. If we were spending that much money, we definitely need to enjoy our food and environment.

The cost for 6 snow crab legs was very high if your shirt on money this is not the place for you

This is the worst crab/shrimp boil I have every ate. The crab was cooked so long that there was no crab meat in the shell. The seasonings was as thick as gravy. The worst even if you never cooked crablegs at home. Yours would still be better.

Just ate lunch here it was so delicious. I almost ate the napkin it was so good. I had a lunch plate but it felt like I had a whole dinner it was so much food for the price going to go again soon and thanks for the exceptional service

The king grab was so different than I ever had, I eat alot of crab. Seems like everything was already steamed, all they did was toss it in the sauce you order. All the crab was like it was over steamed. Crawfish taste like water. No flavor on meat internally.

We just ate here tonight for the first time and will not be returning.the service was as terrible as the food was. One waiter working the entire floor. Did not have an ounce of customer service. We ordered crawfish. We didn’t even finish it most of it was soggy and mushy. The color of the meat was an off color and the seasoning was so muddy. We started to feel sick immediately after eating maybe a lb and decided to leave. For almost 80 dollars it was definitely not worth it. Save your money and go to shell shack!

The crawfish are horrible and old. The seasoning was all on top. My lemonade tasted like soap and the gumbo was horrible and not fresh.the warmed it in the microwave

Nice local spot if you are looking for seafood boil. We drove 13 miles to get here and I would say it was worth it. I would ask for more spice next time. The guy at the front was on top of it. He was running that place. I would definitely go back.

Fresh crawfish. Fire seasoning stands by its name! Probably the hottest season I’ve had in dfw metroplex.

Poor service. Catfish was so fishy I thought it may have been sitting out rotting. Catfish served with what looked like ranch dressing, not tartar sauce. The fries needed extra time to cook. They were not crisp. The catsup they serve has spice added to it. It was passed off as seafood sauce for my shrimp. We ordered calamari appetizer which was delivered after our meals. It was almost like chewing rubber bands. It was overcooked. Had to get up from the table to get someone's attention for drink refills. All this with not more than three tables of people to serve. The TV in the picture is an indication of the cleanliness here as well.

Definitely NOT coming back.

The food is really good. My only gripe is the king crab was snow crab size just very spikey. Avoid the king crab and it's great!

What happened to this place? Crawfish were old. Seasonings were thick like mud. It didn't taste good. Never got drink refills. No soap in the bathrooms, and they were dirty. Showed the employee, and nothing was done. It's not worth the $83, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Love the Cajun Snow Crabs when done correctly. Typically always on piint but Last visit meh.
