King's Creek Golf Club, Kemp TX

Course was in rough shape when we just played. We got a great deal to play so in that aspect we were glad we got to go.
I know it is Texas summer and not much rain but getting at least a little bit of water on the T-box shouldn't be too much to ask. Literally needed a hammer to get a tee in the ground! The massive cracks in the ground in the fairways will literally eat your ball.

I think course is good shape for this time of year.
The large cracks ar common for gumbo soil no easy fix.

Good folks! The dress code is there to bring the class to the game. It’s not a game for people that wear cut off jean shorts and wife beaters, it’s a gentleman’s game for gentlemen. The lights for the driving range are awesome!

They would have to pay me to play here again.that’s how horrible it was.

Feel free to golf here if you want to be harassed & rushed by the range marshal. Not sure who the new owners are but you should focus on the upkeep of the course & greens before harassing your patrons. Also be aware they are now “enforcing” a dress code so collared shirts folks. Heard several people today state they won’t be back to this course.

I find this place has not only a place to shoot pool. But the food they have is so good. Great customer service and you should check them out. Rather you want a round of golf or just a drink and eats or pool come visit KCCC.

Price is a little high for the condition of the course, especially for January rate. Saw a review about a marshal being a pain to other golfers and looks like I met him. He said we couldn't have a beer cooler in cart, I told him there's just a couple waters in there if he wants to look, he said just get rid of it. We were the surprised he took his job so seriously, he was out and about our whole round. We were ready to go after feeling like being watched all day. Probably will not go back.
