The clinic has good for a few years but, when I brought my cat in these last few times they would be vague with explaining her (unconfirmed) herpes. I brought my cat in today for them to clip her claws and talk about her quicks getting long and a dirty claw but, they wouldn't let me ask questions before taking her to trim just the tips.

I was trying to get a prescription setup for my dog and Jamie was very responsive and helpful. She kindly received my information I was asking for and helped me get the prescription set up and then followed thru with a return phone call to let me know it was done. I really appreciate the support, kindness And professionalism

I give this place 5 stars simply because Dr. Z is amazing.

The very nice vet tech, Aziah, and Dr. Z were AWESOME! Aziah was by far the best vet tech that my dog and I have come across. She was extremely patient and kind to my very nervous and anxious dog. Aziah treated her with such love and care. She wasn’t afraid or reluctant to care for her even though she was a pit bull. I wish I could say that about all of the techs we have encountered here, but unfortunately I cannot. We have experienced a couple of very nice techs, but Aziah is by far the best ever. I wish that we could have her help us every time we have to visit the vet. I truly appreciate how loving and kind she was.

Dr. Z is amazing. He is very thorough in his explanations and always does a great job with my dog. He is the only doctor that my dog trusts to examine and take care of her, despite how nervous she always is. I have not allowed her to see any other doctor ever since we were given Dr. Z. He is hands down the best doctor we have ever gotten to experience.

We took our dogs to the clinic and the next day we noticed one of our dogs has a big bruise on his neck. He did not have this when we went in the clinic. I don’t know what has happened when they had my dogs but this is animal abuse and unprofessional. If I can post a picture to show how bad it is I would. I would never ever recommend anyone to come to this clinic.

It's the vet's and my cat's hate it. Take them 4 or 5 day to get over the trauma of being taking there. Nothing the veteran is doing wrong my cats just don't like being caged and taken from the safety of their home. As for the vet she is a fantastic doctor.
I Hate the Mask Rules Everywhere.

Have been going here for years. Not anymore. Seems like Kingsland Animal Clinic has either gotten too big or have too many clients. All they want is your money. Steer clear.

My husband and I took our Malinois in for an exam and they were amazing working with him, that when we made our second trip he was so excited to go. Its refreshing to know that my dog is comfortable going there and that the care is amazing.

I have brought my personal puppy and family pets here for forever. They’re a little more costly than some other clinics but they do provide a lot more than others as well! I recently found a puppy that I just had to help find a home. They helped me the entire way with questions and getting his puppy shots all ready for his new home! He even got an entire beginners guide for those crucial first steps of becoming a puppy parent. The packet was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend the lovely staff as well.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This clinic is filled with heartless employees that would rather rush home than to save a poor dogs life. They messed up with the anesthesia on one of their dogs that they preformed surgery on and could care less that the dog was squealing in pain. They told the owners to go to another 24 hour clinic and by that time it was too late and the dog had to be put down. I don't understand how you can work in a vet clinic and have no sense of empathy for animals. Because of your clinic, a sweet dog lost her life. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!

These people have no idea what they are doing and will try and up-sell you at every turn. Plenty of other vets in the area. Not sure why they have any positive reviews.

They have changed. The front desk people have no idea what they're doing and completely screwed up our bills. Not only that, but they had no idea who's pet was who!? KAC was a good vet at one time. Now it seems, they only want your money. Sad. They've lost a customer of over 20 years.

He last time she would be able to look into Ellie’s eyes and see life. She took her for a routine spay and what happened it horrific.

This video is really hard to watch.

The clinic left her in a coma for 4 hours before counteracting the anesthesia, putting her through so much pain. Ellie was brain dead. They were pushing us out the door at 7 pm because they were closing, didn’t care at all the pain and trauma Ellie was going through or us.
They recommend we go to another clinic that is 24 hours. I have never seen anything so heartless. Then they handed her a bill for $600. I was in shock. The entire time Ellie is yelping in pain.

The entire staff was just ready to leave.

We ended up taking her to Blue Pearl, they said it was too late and she needed to be put to sleep.

Heart wrenching, my friends 11 year old son cried while they buried her. We all cried.

The lack of accountability, compassion or empathy was unbelievable

This place isn't worthy of a 1 star review. I brought my 3 pets in for a parvo vaccine. I asked for a price and was told $35 per dog. Went in the next day and again expressed that I was only there for a parvo vaccine and nothing else. They decided to give my dogs their rabies vaccine and bordetella vaccine without asking me or even letting me know. Also decided to perform their yearly physical/check up. The vet said my dogs are in EXCELLENT condition and when they couldnt find something to try to sell me on they tried to suggest putting my dog under anesthesia to clean her teeth. Once I declined this absurd recommendation she said over the counter chewables for their teeth would also work. Once the office staff called for me to pay my bill they said it came out to $450+. I said there must be a mistake. I asked for a breakdown of the invoice and that's when I realized they took it upon themselves to provide a service I didn't request. After I pointed out their mistake they tried to say I should've known my dog was due for a rabies vaccine. THEN they spoke to the manager who decided since THEY made a mistake (giving them benefit of the doubt that this isn't a typical scam) they said they administered a 3 year vaccine for rabies and a 1 year for bordetella. So, since they made a mistake and gave away vaccines for FREE they decided the solution was to FALSIFY my dogs' records and say they only got a 1 year rabies vaccine and a 6 month bordetella. I asked to speak to a manager about them falsifying my records and they said they would call me back. Never got a call back. Called back multiple times and the manager is conveniently never there. CLASSIC. Will not be taking my dogs there again. Other people in my family have also had bad experiences. They see a total of 7 dogs from my family. It's clear customer loyalty means nothing to them. BEWARE.

UPDATE AS I WAS ABOUT TO PUBLISH THIS I SAW ANOTHER REVIEW THAT DESCRIBES A SIMILAR SITUATION AND HE WAS ALSO A LONG TIME CUSTOMER. THIS IS A RECURRING ISSUE. BEWARE.

Dr Taylor is a fantastic veterinarian and always has the pet’s best interest at heart. I trust Dr Taylor and all of the stuff at Kingsland to care for my fur babies! Thank you for all you do!

I honestly do not understand how there are so many good reviews about this place. I’ve never had an issue with any of the doctors but the front desk staff is terrible.
The second time I came here I showed up right on time for my appointment, checked in, and was told to have a seat. I waited for 30 minutes and just before I was about to go back up to the front to see what was going on they called me WHILE I WAS SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM to ask why I was late for my appointment. They apologized for their mistake, but then I waited another 20 minutes to be brought into a room.
Our next visit was after covid hit so everything was curbside. I am always the person giving businesses the benefit of the doubt and I know things are hard right now. But they took SO LONG to get my dog for his appointment. I waited about an hour and kept trying to call them to see what was going on and they just hung up on me three times. Then an appointment that should have taken 2-3 hours actually took 6 hours! They called me to come get him at 5pm. I pulled up at 5: 20 and was waiting until well after 6pm. I kept putting my head out the window asking the technicians that were coming out for other animals where my dog was and they would tell me to hold on and then never got back to me. I was finally able to get ahold of the receptionist, explained it’s taking forever to get my dog back and she told me they would bring him right out. Then I literally watched her through the window pack up her stuff and leave for the day! I was furious. Called again and spoke to someone else who finally got my dog out to me.
Anyways, the amount of time I have spent waiting at this place is more time than my dog has spent being cared for BY FAR. Would not recommend.

My family has been using this clinic for probably 10 years or more. We are extremely disappointed with their actions this morning.

My wife took one of our puppies in for what should have been her 12 week check up and vaccinations. The clinic decided to ignore the breeders vaccinations and start over from scratch without our consent. Only after the shots had been given did the vet come in and explain why they chose this.

Now the explanation for why they don't trust breeder vaccinations makes a lot of sense, and I agree. We have another puppy that was bought by a side business breeder. And we happily restarted all of her vaccinations over because we did not trust them and had no records.

However, the puppy brought in this morning had all of her breeder vaccinations done by a license veterinarian. Those records were provided to the clinic. Dr Murray's own words were that "she was given a piece of paper saying the dog had been vaccinated" and nothing else. The front desk did not provide her with the actual records.that is when she chose to restart the vaccinations over without consulting my wife or anyone else. She continued to blow this off by saying they were only trying to do what was best for the puppy. When I called her out on this I was promptly told "well your puppy needed another round of shots today, so she still got her shots". Trying to justify their actions by saying the shots she got this morning can still count as her third round so no harm was done.

I'm not happy that the vets feel they can make medical decisions about the animals without consulting the owners. Proper shot records were provided and the front desk either lost them or failed to provide them to the doctor. She then also chose to make a medical decision without our input or requesting if maybe we had other records. This was reckless and could have ended different if we were there for a more serious matter. Being blown off and being told "well she needed another round anyways" shows the complete lack of respect to their customers.

I reached out to two other vets this morning asking what their policies are regarding this, and what Kingsland Blvd did is obviously not normal or okay. Just because there was no harm done does not mean their actions were okay or justified. We have requested all our animal records be transferred to a different clinic that a family friend works at. Which, surprisingly was founded by one of the original Vets from Kingsland Blvd. Hopefully they have the same ethics and standards that I remember from so many years ago.
