Kitchen Master reviews
19Been here only once, but the food was good! Jalapeno chicken and chilli garlic noodles were delicious. Mapo tofu was a bit disappointing as compared to other places, but most other dishes that we ordered, were flavorful. We plan to visit again to try other dishes.
Phenomenal menu. Best dumplings in Frisco. One of our favorite spots for great food. The beef noodle and XLB are a must.
I had a great experience here. The food was very tasty and came out fresh. It didn’t take long for it to come out either. The soup dumplings have a very unique flavor that might not be appealing to everybody’s taste buds but it was good quality food.
The Soup dumplings were excellent and the staff was especially friendly.the tables can be a tad cramped.but that doesn't affect my overall experience!
We over ordered and were completely stuffed!
DJ, our server, was awesome! Super professional and observant. Had the shrimp shumai, the Mongolian beef, and custard buns for dessert. Everything was delicious and fairly priced.
Their soup dumplings are awesome! Love how the fried rice isn't too greasy – really good. Got some other dishes too.
It is kind of chilly inside, you might want to layer up.
Rare good Chinese restaurant north of 121. Food is amazing and flavorful. Highly recommend their wontons and beef flat noodles.
The food is ok, I ordered beef flat noodle store fry and pan fried buns. The noodle did has so called wok hay, a special aroma from the work when fast stir fry in high temp. Somehow it lack of salt and seasoning. The bun just regular pork bun which not that good. Service is also ok somehow when they served the bun there is no soy sauce and vinegar to pair? I was waiting for a while, the waiter passed by twice I was about to ask but not sure he didn’t seem me or just didn’t care. I didn’t want to ask loud, so have to figure where the hell I could find the soy sauce. It’s not a pleasant meal in all. And I don’t think I will bring any friends here.
When my husband and I dined in and ordered a bunch of dimsum we were blown away. All the dumplings and buns were amazing.five stars.
A couple months later we decided to order delivery from these guys. We ordered traditional American Chinese menu items like sesame chicken (extra crispy, which arrived EXTRA mushy), and Mongolian beef (no heat), twice cooked pork (undercooked unmarinated pork). The sesame chicken was cooked with sweet and sour chicken style breading, and then drenched. Total soggy mess. We did order pork buns as well, but they don’t deliver well. The bottoms don’t stay crispy, but you can reheat them in a pan to recrisp.
The whole order was completely underwhelming and we were surprised by this experience vs the high quality of the dimsum in restaurant.
I would say this restaurant is GREAT if you’re gonna dine in and order dim sum, but not good for ordering American Chinese delivery.
This is by far the best soup dumpling. The skin is thin and soft. The fillings are amazing. I enjoyed the chicken dumpling, truffle dumpling, and the pan fry dumpling.
I ordered door dash from this place. 70 bucks for 2 entrées & appetizer. Open the stapled bag & noticed THEY FORGOT ALL THE SAUCES! Tried calling…they won’t answer the phone so i’m stuck eating the DRYEST meal of my life! Note to self…. Sauces make chinese food palatable.
The food was excellent, but I really want to commend the service. Jonah, my server, was attentive without being overbearing, and he was courteous throughout. Really exceptional!
The owner:you really need to taste the dishes from your kitchen, please use good quality meats, not very cheap meats.please give your employees good training or just watch the YouTube they can make relatively good Chinese dishes, please let them do better cooking, since the price is kind of high in your restaurant. This is a so weird Chinese restaurant, most likely the people who work in the kitchen does not have basic knowledge and skills of Chinese food. Hot and sour soup looks like dark soy sauce and starch and taste weird.the mapoo tofu is just like soft tofu plus garlic chilly sauce.the beef in beef noodles is so hard to chew, of course no taste too.the stir green veg just water boiled green veg plus salt and garlic, I never go back to here.
It is the best 小籠包 I have in Dallas so far. It’s so juicy and fresh. The beef noodles soup was just so delicious.
This is the last time we will be coming here. We’ve given them quite a few chances. Bottom line: the food is pretty good but this place is DIRTY. Everywhere. Just dirty. Fruit flies over our table. Dirty floors. Worn out and dirty cabinets. The toilets don’t work. The manager walks by absolutely wreaking of cigarette smoke. Not very appetizing. At all. Service was slow. Food delivery strange - one plate at a time and appetizers came after dinner. We’re done.
Food was really good. Nothing blew my socks off. But was very yummy. I will definitely return. The steamer and pan fried buns were good. We got the lo mein and basil chicken it all tasted fresh and delicious. Our server was very sweet and gave great suggestions.
It was our first time having dumplings. We got the pork dumplings and they were delicious. We also shared the General Tao’s chicken and it was also delicious. The atmosphere was busy but not chaotic or hectic. Our server Kent T was so very nice and helpful with the menu. We really enjoyed ourselves and the meal! Five stars!
Christian gave excellent service. His recommendation for the crab and pork soup dumplings were spot on and those are definitely the star of the show. I will be back for those.
The pork buns needs a little more work. The pork belly needs more flavor. Love all the sauces they make for the “dunk”! Jasmine tea was really nice.
This place has gone downhill since it opened. They seem to keep changing the recipes. Many dishes have lost their authenticity and have been altered to fit Westerners palate. The only thing that stands out and is worth getting is the soup dumplings. The last two times we visited, the recipes have changed. The Mapo tofu does not taste the same anymore. They added a tomato flavor to it and is not authentic at all. The eggplant was undercooked and dry. They changed the bun bao to a huge sandwich with too much pickled mustard greens. The fried rice is made with cheap rice and lacked flavor. Many of the stir fry dishes are americanized.
Service is very slow. Lack of training and proper customer service skills. The manager is friendly but staff need to be more happier.
Will not be returning. If you want authentic food, go next door to Plano.
