Veronica Lawyer is the WORST recruiter EVER! I never spoke with someone who have no enthusiasm towards Students who want to better their career in becoming a truck driver. The way she takes care of business is horrible. She called me once Which i missed that call when i got back in contact with her we started the process and from there she made me feel useless. She asked me questions with no joy in her voice when i told her my work history and mentioned i worked at gordmans in Bloomington Normal she said what kind of Italian restaurant was it and i had to tell her it was a retail store (Shes on the computer looking it up as im telling her). Since she couldn't find it she said i had to send her my W2 forms because whole time she still looking up an Italian restaurant. She then asked about a temp agency i worked for and needed the correct town it was in because she couldn't find anything i told her in the system. Which she found it but wanted to give me a hard time so i told her bloomington Normal she then said no that is not the city and i said it Is in normal and she told me well thats the city i wanted Normal not Bloomington and i said Bloomington Normal is 1 thats like Bloomington Indiana and she stated how am i supposed to know Bloomington and normal is the same thing when i don"t live there. 'Cough Cough' RUDE! The real question is how are you a recruiter for regional truck driving and don't know Cities and States Geesh! Someone come take this lady seat right now because she definitely don't know what shes doing. So next she gave me a hard time with the gap dates in between my work history she said she needed to fill the gaps from the time i was working years back until now i gave her all the dates of my employment. She then said i need to fill in the gaps i told her i wasnt working at the times that she needed. What i get no response so i contacted the 1800 number to speak with someone else because shes at this point ticking me off. Cynthia whom answered told me all i needed to do was fill out a gap letter stating i was unemployed at the time. I said thats it? Because Veronica keeps forcing me to do otherwise when i wasn't working at the times and she needed proof. So i emailed veronica asking for the gap letter. What i get no response no email or call 3 days later she messaged me with the form to fill out like it was that hard to send it anyway. I took it upon myself to drive 2 1/2 hours away to the KLLM Academy just to get help in person because veronica wasn't of any. When i got there i asked if i could get another recruiter which i couldn't. The Lady Nicole who was at the front desk asked me why and i told her how i felt about my recruiter she then told me well i don't know how when shes the best one we got in Mississippi. I knew right then and there they had to be cool. So i told her i had a gap letter i had to fill out she called veronica you can tell she did not want any dealings with me either because Nicole was rolling her eyes shaking her head and saying yeah i know on the phone to Veronica like she didn't have time for me. This was a week ago when i filled out what i needed to and till this day i still havent heard anything back from the rude a** lady. I would not recommend this all black school our people cant even do whats right to see a sista or brotha make it in life. They abuse their authority and only care about themselves. Luckily i found another company who called me and got everything situated in one day to where i will be starting in a few days here it took me 2 1/2 weeks to try and get in KLLM clearly they dont care about us.

First of all, Someone wrote a book review on here. If you didn't like your recruiter call back & change them. That's your right. Having a bad recruiter is not the end of the world. I didn't go to school here. I've been driving just about 7yrs now not with Kllm. Trucking is what "YOU" Put into it. If you like to sit around at truck stops & don't like making $1500-1800 a week by running hard. You need to go home & sit to collect a welfare check. See how that works out for ya. No trucking company is perfect. Start out as a company driver first. If you think you got it down in a year. Go speak with getting a lease to own if you choose so. I'm here to tell ya. You have more responsibility, a truck payment, breakdown cost, pay your own fuel, pay your own taxes, etc. You have your own authority to choose loads & when to take time off. It's not for everyone! Being on time is crucial in this business. That's how I keep customers for more loads. So go out see the world, make good money, & see the countryside. The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly!

I attended a different trucking school before I came here didnt like what I personally saw instructors had attitude everyday. I had to share a room in the hotel and had spend money on food for 3 week's. KLLM/FEE was like seen the Batman sign in the sky, sign up and honestly it was the best decision I made. What really make me like the school even more I was sitting down and class week 1 and this gentleman comes in he is the vice President (Mark) of the company he came and introduce himself shake your hand ask you where you from, there's not a lot of vice President/ CEO that will do that when I seen that I knew this is the school. The instructors here are cool believe me they want you to get your CDL, but keep in mind you have to do your part as work hard show them you want to be a truck driver you will make it. The food is great no out of pocket 3 meals a day, you get your own room can't ask for more. I pass my CDL about a week ago. I Thank you guys so much this is why I gave you 5 stars.

This place is awesome, Mark the VP is a very nice and down to earth man, all the instructors are very, very patient and understanding, they always have time to answer any questions and help. The food that they provide is really good, they all make you feel welcome really happy I made the decision to come here to KLLM. I highly recommend anyone thinking about coming here, to come on.
