Klyde Warren Park reviews
16IT'S A KID/FAMILY-FRIENDLY MULTI ACTIVITIES PARK, AND THERE ARE DIFFERENT EATRY PLACES. BUT THE ONLY THING IS IT CAN GET VERY CROWDED BY HUMAN TRAFFIC ATTRACTIONS THAT SURROUND DALLAS ARTS DISTRICT AND DALLAS TRANSIT/REGULAR TRAFFIC. SO IN THAT. I WOULDN'T TRUST IT. IT CAN BE EASY ACCESS GROUNDS FOR SICK INDIVIDUALS WHO WANTS TO SNATCH A CHILD. YESSS. IT'S SECURITY I DON'T TRUST IT TOO MUCH EITHER. IT SITS RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF DOWNTOWN DALLAS. (THESE ARE JUST SOME OF MY CONCERNS WITH LIVING HERE AND BEING A PARENT. TRULY DALLAS IS GETTING REALLY BAD AND TOO OVERCROWDED.) I AM NOT SAYING DON'T GO BUT BE VERY CAREFUL AND PLEASE WATCH YOUR LITTLE PEOPLE. (IT IS A CHILD'S PLACE.) YESSS DALLAS. YOUR TAX DOLLARS PAY FOR YOU TO ENJOY EVERY ASPECT OF IT. DO TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THESE ITEMS: PLENTY OF WATER, HAND WIPES, SNACKS, TOWELS (WATER PARK), SUNSCREEN, BUG REPELLENT, COOLING FANS OR TOWELS, FIRST AID KIT (JUST IN CASE THEY SCRAPE THEIR KNEES, ETC FROM RUNNING.) THIS PARK DOES HAVE PLANNED ACTIVITIES ON THEIR WEBSITE. AGAIN PLEASE ENJOY BUT BE VERY SAFE. BLESSINGS
What an amazing place to have a lovely time with family. You can spend time walking around, having a picnic and just relax.
Great spot to take kids, play around, enjoy the view, get some food from the food trucks, or the ice cream man who sets up across the street. When it gets to hot go next door in the DMA for some free art and AC!
Klyde Warren Park is a gem in Dallas Downtown! Visited the 5.2-acre Klyde Warren Park while exploring Dallas Downtown. It is a public urban park offering everything you need for a fun day out like walkways, picnic lawns, beautiful landscape gardens, interactive play fountains, a performance pavilion, a dog park, table game areas, etc. The year-round programming is impressive - fitness classes, yoga, children's story times, musical performances and movie screenings.
This is a great place for a selfie with a backdrop of the Dallas skyline. There are a variety of food trucks on the adjacent street of the park. Ample parking options available, but it would take for parking on weekends, since it gets filled quickly. Highly recommended!
Clean park with lots of room for entertainment. Some of my favorite activities were Pingpong, Foosball and Cornhole. Food trucks of all varieties lined the streets.
Great place to picnic and have fun with the fam or friends, Socialize or just relax out of the everyday routine.they added more restrooms and some nice restaurants around.
Love the food truck options and availability. Plenty of seating and shade and activities (water and events) to do. An amphitheater, restaurants, and other museums within close proximity. Plenty of parking as well and definitely an enjoyable time for fresh air, green spaces, and southern hospitality.
This park is a Dallas iconic staple and a free Downtown travelers/tourist destination; if you have never been, it must stop. Everything you need in one place there’s a playground for kids, and in summer turns into a water park, restaurants, multiple varieties of food trucks, restrooms, and much more Dallas attractions within walking distance. For a Charitable donation you can catch the M-Line trolly for more food and shopping.
1st time there, in town for a business trip and I was happy to see 10+ food trucks! This one food truck called “Hallal Mother Truckers” was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and I wish I had enough time to come back DAILY! The tikka & butter chicken tacos were SOOOOOO DELICIOUS! I recommended that place to all my co-workers!
There is a free trolley that rides up/down Olive St and can stop in front of Mi Cocina. I wasn't aware of this until after the fact therefore, I walked approx 10 minutes (straight shot) from my hotel.
This place always had stuff going on! Lots of good food trucks and the margaritas at mi cocina are good! Ple ty of places to sit and eat and walk around
Enjoyed our time at Klyde Warren Park today. It is surprisingly quiet, considering you are on top of the highway. Simply beautiful. Want to go back at night.
It was so cool seeing all of the families and the kids playing, it truly felt like a community!
Love this park downtown Dallas! Lots of fun activities for the kids & had some bathrooms by the kids play areas. It also has a little library area with books & magazines, along with a lot of other fun games for adults too- like ping-pong and foozeball
Dallas did a great job building a park and food truck park on top of the highway. Everyone is friendly and the water is refreshing on a hot day
Klyde Warren Park in Dallas is an absolute delight! The perfect spot for an evening stroll with a stunning view of the city. I love how it seamlessly blends green spaces with urban vibes. Whether you want to relax on the lawn, enjoy food truck treats, or immerse yourself in various activities, this park has it all. A must-visit gem in Dallas!
The park is perfect for a weekend with the family, for a romantic night.etc.the only bad thing is.finding a parking space.
