If you love yourself, do not move here! I stayed for 5 years smh The final straw was roaches for the last 7 months I lived there. A roach fell on my daughter in her bed, and I just broke the lease. By the way, my home was immaculate. I would get compliments from maintenance and pest control (which didn’t correct the problem) about how nice my apartment looked, especially in comparison to some of the neighbors.

After leaving, I reached out and asked them to send me a final bill. Never received a response or anything even though they had my contact info and forwarding address. Once you’re moved out, you’re locked out of the online portal. Instead of sending me a bill, they just sent it straight to collections.

Before the roaches, every month the hot water (or water all together) would be turned off for days, sometimes weeks at a time. I could hear rodents in the walls/ceiling, my unit flooded numerous times, and my ceiling in the bathroom caved in. There’s more but not even worth ranting about. Health department should shut this place down. Don’t move here.

We're still waiting for the hot water. Having issues with complex boilers since 3 days ago.

I like living here. My building is nice & quiet. I don't have any roaches but if you do they offer pest control. And for me & my experience maintenance comes either same day of putting in request for maintenance or at the latest the next day.

I really liked the area, the apartments and the price. But since I moved in, I have seen a lot of roaches.

Knollcrest Apts has been our home for a very long time. We have never given much
thought to moving elsewhere. Our prestigious Medical Center is literally right around the corner, less than 5 miles away. Also located nearby are grocery stores, service stations, restaurants, and fast food outlets, as well as a variety of other shopping venues. Knollcrest Apartments are expertly managed with a courteous and cooperative office staff. Led by their knowledgeable and experienced supervisor, the Maintenance team deserves special recognition for their quick response time, courtesy, and efficiency. With its many amenities, professional management, and spacious floor plans, Knollcrest Apts would be an excellent choice for your next residence.

I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex or this REEP Equity/ REEP Residential to ANYBODY. Management is horrible and does not care of the conditions of their apartments. I have lost almost $2k worth of furniture due to a roach infestation they were already aware of in the unit they moved my family into and did not replace it. The apartment set on fire in the ac wall unit because my fiancé turned on the heat and had to call the fire department about the situation. THEY DID NOT CARE. There are no fire extinguishers in any of the units. My family was sleep and could've died but nobody cared or reached out to us that night to make sure we were okay. They have several issues with appliances in the units and move slow on fixing them.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! If I could have given negative stars for this complex I would. When being shown my unit I specifically asked Norma, the assistant office manager if the pests were as bad as they said online, and the answer given was “it wasn’t bad if you keep your place clean and If anything you can call the pest control. ” Well I should have trusted those review’s because It doesn’t matter how clean you keep your place, these apartments are INFESTED! The ENTIRE complex is infested. I have found roaches in my bathroom, staircase, in my carpet in the living room. The kitchen is of course the worst. I’ve poured cereal and they’re in the box, ate their way into fresh fruit. They’re in the fridge and throughout the cabinets. It’s absolutely disgusting. Living here made me not want to cook at home or even be at home. I was in a position of having to resign and I hated it. After going through a medical scare I was on bed rest and finding those roaches in my room while trying to heal was the last straw. When I called the office to explain my reasonings the office manager MICHA was so uncaring and so cold. She’s stalled on getting paperwork to my new complex for me to leave. She straight out lied to them about having no idea why I was leaving saying that I’ve never called and complained about anything. Girl bye. You “manage” an absolute dump and really should find a new line of work because to call yourself a Manager is a joke.

I was lucky enough to get out of that disgusting apartment but for the families living there still, I pray that something happens to improve the living conditions this place. The gate in this “gated community” worked for 2 weeks during my year there. Hot water being shut off for days at a time for what seemed like every other week. Dog mess everywhere trash cans overflowing. NO ONE should have to live in these conditions no matter the income.

Last night my ac went out and the temp in my house was 90.i called the office and told them my kids were sweating. 5 mins after i got off the phone maintenance was here and cleaned my filter and started working on my ac.it still was 87 in my house but i didnt want to calll and bother them again.maintenance came back on his own and told me they had changed the ac and he reset my thermostat for me.i am so thankful and grateful for the quick response from the crew.thank you all so much!

Gave 1 star because it was the lowest one i could pick. 1st in the last years there have been over 6 mangers.and just as many office worked, after homeless man came up to me one night (he was from another part of the city living in his truck and they did nothing about it after i told office) they said just don't go around him.then a family fight was around us and the dad was arrest for having and gun and waving it around, water turned off almost monthly.weird thing it was around the 1st of the month every time and in 3 years and I could count 20 times it happens gate was always broken so no used the right way in or out, and they never fixed anything in our unit for almost 2 years.unmarked cars with no tags on them and wrecked ones everywhere, these are the ones I could think of only reason we stayed was we were waiting on our home to be built and could not run our credit to get a better place to live Durning that time and we were always protected with our own safety cameras and other means of protection.so many more problems in the area as a unit it crazy

Not sure what was repaired/ fixed or when, they didn't leave a letter stating what was fixed.

Work orders nor completed and marked as completed. Ice in my bedroom windows. Thermostat needs replacing they refused to replace it. Damaged floors and carpet due to leaks. They refuse to fix. Dark stains on carpets fReported it twoce. Do not move here.everything being soaked. Carpet people on brought fans in and nit lift carpets to dry padding. My son almost got shocked to death hooking up my dryer when I moved in. Wires were exposed. Maintenance locked Mt dog in my bedroom for who knows how long with out water. Repi

I've only been at this complex for a month. I do NOT recommend you live here. I awoke to find my vehicle on bricks missing all 4 tires along with the rims down to the breaks, GONE. I did what I was supposed to do, file a police report. Talk to the apartment complex. They did not show concern. Mind you, I did not go in there yelling or with an attitude. We were genuinely sad and concerned. They told my husband and I that this does not happen here normally. I asked when they would get their gates fixed seeing as this place is advertised as a gated community, no answers. Mind you I have spoken to other neighbors that have lived here for years and they have told me that the gates have never worked during their stay. I understand that is not the leasing offices fault but I did not appreciate Norma telling me that even if the gates worked, that wouldn't have stopped it from happening. Inconsiderate thing to say and her demeanor along with Mikah Barnes displayed a lack of empathy. So I get on the neighbor app and see a video of some ones car being stolen at this very complex. Guess what? Gates were not closed. Broad daylight, the thief was able to speed away while the tenant was attempting to chase them down with their camera in hand recording the whole incident. If the gates had been working, more could have been done. Truly disappointed at this as well as feel unsafe in this community. They have yet to send out a notification to all tenants that this occurred. Yet they sent one out for mailboxes that were broken into just a few days ago. I also still haven't gotten any word back from them whether or not anything was caught on whatever cameras they do have. On top of this incident, our apartment was not move in ready as advertised. Broken window, broken faucet, broken dishwasher, dirty filters. If you move here, please invest in some cameras and security measures as this apartment complex has NONE. The only cameras they have are the ones by the mailboxes. No where else is what they've told me. This place is NOT safe for you and your family. I genuinely think people that live here are the cahoots and watch you to tell their accomplices who to target. I am expecting my first child and honestly cannot wait to leave this place as I do not feel safe or feel heard.

Update: this happened to us and the next day we already have a warning to tow sign. This whole situation is a joke.

Ángel was great at taking care of things. I had to wait a few months on the dishwasher but the rest was submitted less than a week before and it was all resolved in a timely manner.

Came across Knoll Apartments on Market Place and was chatting with Mika. I told her my situation and she said come by and take a tour. I did the tour on Wednesday and she had me in my place on Monday. I’m so thankful for her because I was living out my car for a month. I love that I have a one bedroom townhome and the community do far within a week everyone I have met has been friendly. Great family community.

1st day of move in, I believe there was flees or ticks in the apartment, also don't know if ac filter need to be change out but it's hot in my apartment and this is my 2nd night here, other than that the ladies in office are friendly and a great help.

DO NOT DO NOT MOVE HERE IM A CURRENT TENANT AND I WOKE TO MY CELING ON MY BED AND ALL OVER MY BEDROOM FLOODED WITH WATER UP ALL THE WAY INTO MY LIVING ROOM. DAMAGED MY ENTIRE BED THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED. AND ILL BE HAVING TO COME OUT OF MY POCKET FOR A NEW ONE. This has happened to me over 4 times my apartment being flooded. Due to the carelessness of the neighbors that are on drugs being placed above me. Just TWO DAYS ago. They flooded my kid’s restroom and maintenance took forever to arrive. Today they were just so nonchalant about my apartment and how unlivable and unsafe it is for me and my kids just waiting for the next diaster to happen and more of my property to loose out on. I’m going to fight hard to get out of this lease legally but if all fails I’ll have to break my lease. And I can not afford to be taking off work like I had to do today especially with the expensive rent. I tried to ask kindly to be let out of my lease and of course I was told “they don’t do that for these kinds of problems “ this is a HELL OF A PROBLEM. Tomorrow I see a lawyer praying all goes well I need to be out of here asap my kids and I don’t deserve to be held somewhere that isn’t suitable or safe to live also I was told I can’t be moved to another unit as well. So the only option I’m giving is literally staying in this same apartment 09/21/2023 also if you want to come home from a long day of work to NON working hot water to cook or shower EVERY OTHER DAY SOMETIMES DAYS AT A TIME THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU IF YOU DONT WANT THOSE PROBLEMS PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE WITH YOUR FAMILY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND PLEASE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS

Terrible i cant wait to move out, the gnats and fruits flies are horrific even with a clean house, the walls molded from water/pipe leak no one fixed my floors came apart do to a water issue no one fixed it. My ac been out 3 days and no one has tried to come fix it in this heat they just review the work order and ignore you. They wonder why people dont pay rent on time living in these conditions not to mention the hot water stay out as well. Place so ridiculous even the walls and floors smell after i even use bleach. Please dont move here.

I've lived here two and a half years. In that time the hot water has gone out 16 times and at least six of those times exceeded 24 hours. I understand that this is an older complex and with that can come numerous maintenance issues along with San Antonio's foundation and pipe issues. Over all, this hasn't been a bad place to live, however, the rent is getting ridiculous for what you get.
