Restaurant Kolache Factory reviews
24Have gotten some orders mixed up before and ended up with some other flavors; but nevertheless those other flavors are just a great. I have yet to find a flavor I didn't like here. Sometimes the kolaches come out way too hot, and occasionally too cold in the center. Also love their iced lattes.
They’re definitely fast food quality kolaches, not as good as what you would get at a nice bakery. I really like the jalapeño sausage and cheese, so I pretty much get that one every time. The last time we went there, they gave us expired milk and we didn’t notice til we drove away, so watch out for that. Otherwise they have been fine.
Definitely recommend this place for a weekend breakfast. Strongly recommend the jalapeño popper/sausage and gravy Kolache. Their bacon, egg and cheese kolaches are pretty hefty and filling! Don’t forget the cinnamon roll!
I love when my job brings me to this side of town and I'm able to get breakfast here. I recommend the Texas hot!
They were out of half their menu and yelled at me when I asked for a different item on the menu. The employees had an attitude problem and the food was cold. I’m definitely not coming here again.
BBQ kolache is my favorite
Is it too much to give a few napkins? The last few times going through the drive thru I haven't gotten any.
My cinnamon twist were very stale, it honestly tasted like it was a week old. The egg and cheese had no flavor. I never write reviews but I was beyond disappointed.
After a few stops by, I've decided to downgrade my review from 4 to 3-stars.
The food is unique and has great potential, but is not quite worth it. My biggest gripe goes to the Pizza kolaches. I've picked them up a few times for my coworkers, and each time we were scratching our heads wondering if they somehow forgot cheese and marinara sauce like they advertise. It's generally just a small stack of pepperoni. Lots of air in these kolaches, not packed like the pictures show.
Here's an expectation vs reality photo for comparison.
I'm a regular customer I go every day before work, I know it says on the door they open at 6am but I get there around 5: 40am and they are always opened early for me. They always have a great attitude and the food is always over the top freshly made, I really enjoy all the kolaches I have tried almost all of them but my favorite has to be the ham and cheese croissants and the steak and egg they are always very filling, always delicious! The girls and the manager are always so friendly and in a good mood, always makes my morning to eat here.
Awesome kolaches, i stepped out of the normal.jalapeno and cheese sausage kolaches and tried some new flavors, what an option!
Breakfast place being out of their most popular kolache at 9 am on a friday and a 15 minute wait for it. Real smart guys. Probably why we can't get more of them in San Antonio
These kolaches are the best, I always try to get here asap cause if not they're gone, customer service is very nice, they are cold from sitting fresh from the oven but they can reheat them, I usually like to reheat them at home
I stopped in here to grab some pastries for breakfast for my coworkers. Unfortunately I got an order of 4 Ranchero kolaches and ended up with 4 bacon and egg ones, but they were still good. I also got the fruit ones which were pretty good. For the price they seemed pretty reasonable.
Everything gets microwaved before you receive it. Too small a place to not keep clean. Dessert is basically a kolache with fruit. (most if them). Employees are O. K. Not sure why I would go there again. Its Just not for me.
The combination of flavors and high quality of products are really amazing! If you haven’t try this place yet, you have to! I highly recommend ham and cheese.

Was very surprised to open my bag to these. Bland flavor, sausage was pretty gross. I went to gas stations with better kolaches. Regretting wasting money on these fake kolaches. The cheese was okay
I love this place! Everyone is always so friendly and EVERYTHING is yummy. It is my favorite Sunday breakfast spot. Whether you want something sweet, savory or even a fruit smoothie (no dairy), this place is great.
Hands down, this place has the best Kolaches in San Antonio. They are completely filled, plus they offer a wide variety for everyone. Also, they offer what they call "Kolache of the Month", which typically is a different limited edition flavored Kolache. People, stop having donuts for breakfast and buy yourself one of these!
I loved going here years ago and I can't wait to enjoy more delicious kolaches now that I'm back!
Delicious kolaches! I highly recommend the sausage gravy kolache though I haven't honestly had one yet that I didn't like. Sign up for emails and get pretty good coupons on a regular basis as they are a little pricey, but I find all kolaches to be expensive.
