Koto Hibachi and Sushi reviews
17I don't usually write reviews but this food was perfect. I mean every part. Even the soup that you don't think much about. The tuna roll we ordered had a HEALTHY serving of it, which I'm not used to. The flavours were excellent. I'd recommend this place with full fervour. Very fast too. Calamari was amazing
Very good great customer service she gave me extra fried rice with my sushi order very good would go back again
The best hibachi place in town! The staffs are friendly with great services. And the quality of food deserve way more than 5 stars. I've been there a few times already and never disappointed. Love this place so much!
Nice little find with huge portions for their hibachi dinners. Some come with salad and soup and options to upgrade the rice into fried rice. Tried the steak and eggs and the shrimp which were both wonderful.
Overall, great food! This place is typically spot on with flavor, ambiance, and quality! Their chicken/egg/avacado plate is my all time favorite!
The chicken teriyaki was a bit dry. I’d requested less oil, perhaps that could’ve been a factor.
Came in on a Wednesday evening with friends to try out since it was local and had good reviews. Unfortunately I have to say we were thoroughly disappointed. The service is fast and friendly however the food quality does not keep up. I would not recommend getting any rolls with tuna as it is brown in color and definitely the worst tuna we have ever had. We tried the Dynamite Roll, a specialty roll which unknowingly also had tuna in it. I regret not taking a photo but for $15 a roll I would expect more than a california roll with orange sauce over it. The rice was very old and overall the sushi was lower quality than a grocery store. The miso soup was pretty good and I am sure the hibachi is worth a try someday but not from my friends and I.
Excellent service! Super yummy food! We came it at 9pm (pretty close to closing) and we were met with a super friendly smile. We were very hungry and needed dinner before we drove back to Oklahoma. We all got rolls, edamame, a kids plate, and seriously the best Crab Rangoon. VERY FAST! So delicious. The kids plate was actually a great big portion (could feed an adult). Everything was fresh and we were able to watch him make our rolls right at the bar in front of us. 100% recommend!
Japanese Resturant with mostly chinese dishes, fried rice and Vietnamese pho noodles, instead of Japanese Udon or Ramon.
Food: Sushi fish was tasteless, rice was old, spicy tuna roll has no spice. Surprisingly, meat ball pho’s broth was tasty, plenty of noodles but meat ball was old and dried up.
Service: Hard working lady, don’t want to explain much.
Atmosphere: nothing special. Small place, black board take up the whole wall. It got hot every time door opens, I’m sure it would be super cold in the winter time.
Photo of my call in to-go order today, Tuna roll is dark brown in color. Meal ($15) not eaten out of caution and concern of getting sick. Disappointed.
Paid extra for hibachi with fried rice and got white rice on both. Paid extra for masiago sauce for my sushi and never got that either. Never coming back just awful.
Good quality food. Huge portions! Excellent service. It has very limited seating and can be noisy. Pictured is the Chicken Fried Rice and the Hibachi Chicken.
I love this place the staff is super friendly and they always have a smile on their faces. The fried rice is delicious and full of flavor. And their sushi is delicious as well. All around a Great place to dine at. And you can bring your own bottle.
Took a lunch special which gives 2 rolls and 4 peices of different sushi and miso soup. I took shrimp tempura roll and spicy tuna which were really good. Out of the 4 different sushis, only 2 of them were fresh and tasted good the other too fish were chewy, i guess it was not the fresh fish. Miso soup was served hot and was yumm.
Visiting from out of state and decided to try this place. Cute tiny sushi and hibachi place. We got three rolls, the frisco, happy, and samurai, all excellent. Very friendly people. Great service. Would go back.
Omg! I have found a secret treasure! Love, love, love this place! It is small and intimate, but the food is perfect every time! I especially love the spicy garlic edamame. And the staff is so nice and professional. You must add this place as a definite "go to" for a delicious, casual lunch or dinner.
Amazing, delicious steak, veggies and great selection of draft beer. Nice staff and authentic Japanese hibachi experience.
Best sushi spot in frisco (that isn't extremely expensive). Small joint, ordered 15+ times always good quality for what your paying compared to what you get elsewhere around the same cost. Lady at the front is always super nice. Good local spot all in all.
