Kowloon Chinese Seafood Restaurant reviews
15 We love the sweet and sour red snapper.
W celebrated our parents 50th wedding anniversary last year there. They catered and we had half of the restaurant reserved as well as the stage.
I wouldn’t even give them a star but just cause I had to to write a review basically we order Chinese broccoli and Chinese mushroom stir fry…Jesus Christ basically this place boil their veggies and pour sauce over…so the one without the sauce drizzle on just pure nasty…other Chinese bbq spot place we went to we can taste the wok…also order the combination flat noodles omggggg noodles was not cooked and this was a big disappointment! My first time here and I’m never coming back…cause all I wanted to do was stop all the customers that was coming in!
Be aware, as of spring 2023 they now add a 3.95% fee if you pay with a card. While the food is good, we won't be going back until they get rid of this charge - accepting cards is part of doing business, and it's not fair to punish your customers for not carrying cash.
Amazing dim sum great selection. All delicious Tasting I highly recommend great staff as well
The veggies were soft, the shrimp tasted old. Food wasn’t horrible but wasn’t worth the price. Also they had kids running around the entire restaurant. I think they were apart of the restaurant.
Delicious! We had Dim Sum for the first time and it was wonderful. The servers were amazing and were so helpful in teaching us about it. They assisted us in choosing a few things to try. What a fun experience! We loved every bite. Definitely heading back and taking some friends for the adventure.
We came for Dim Sum on Sunday around 1 and immediately when we got seated we had a 2 nice ladies help us, 1 was a younger girl. I had no idea what the plates we liked are named but knew how to describe it and the younger girl was super helpful, knew right away, and got us everything we needed from various carts. We ate deliciously and was in a out in about 30 minutes. That's awesome service!
All the Dim sum not good even though we went around lunchtime. I think they change the cook or owner.
First time there with my daughter trying dim sum at this place and will be our last never again going back to this place. Food in the cart was very cold and nasty. They have the worst service so demanding and very rude especially the girls pushing the food cart and disgusting OMG I saw her covering the food with her hand (food in the cart not hot at all if she able cover it with her hand) they give you small portions with high price.
This place has good weekend dim sum. Not my go to but when in Arlington this is my go to spot. Lot of options and staff is so friendly. Sticky rice and dumplings are great.
Service was excellent! 10/10! Respectful & really attentive! Great price! Dumplings were a little bland though. Egg rolls were excellent. Pork Buns were delicious!
I've lived in Arlington my whole life and have never been here until recently & omg was I missing out! The Dim Sum is delicious! I am seriously hooked!
It was my first time going there, I asked the reception for a table but she didn’t speak English, I don’t know why a resturaunt would make a non English speaker a receptionist, I was trying to ask for a table for 4 but she got upset is pointed at me and did hand movements to tell me to follow her, when she gave us a table it was too small, it was near the window and it had 2 seats, I asked her for the table beside and she did hand movements again saying whatever and left. Later the food cart came and there was only 4 things to choose from, they had about 20-25 dishes in the cart. We got 2 bao and 2 beef and vegetables. We ordered fried rice too. The food was not good. The bao was about 90% batter and there was little to zero beef in the beef and vegetables, just vegetables. We then got some pork but it was bland. When we asked for the check they charged us $65+tax, it was outrageous because the portions we received for very small, yet not good. When I asked them why it was so high they said because of the inflation of us goods and gas. We are struggling too! We paid the bill and after that we heard them speaking chinese behind us, and they kept looking at us, luckily my friend spoke Chinese and knew what they were saying. Apparently they were talking about how americans don’t know culture and other stuff. We left. This is the best place to go to if you want to get robbed for trash food and bad service.
First time encounter with this gem, we enjoyed a family style dim sum experience, every dish was was a delight, I lack the vocabulary for the the names of each pleasureable morsel, synopsis good food, great environment
