From the moment you walk in, you're in awe. The music, the ambiance, the decor, etc. The staff is friendly, drinks are righteous and Que the manager is very involved and hands on. The performances were timely and very majestic. Definitely will be going back soon and will be a frequent visitor.

Maddison was so amazing! The entertainment and food just as good. One of a kind experience. Definitely will come back!

I went to this establishment on November 18th to celebrate my engagement with friends. Upon arrival, it was chaotic. The hostess were confused and didn’t know where to sit me even though I had a reservation. Once they figured it out, they did sit me in the speakeasy area which I requested and it was nice. I bought a bottle and listened to the dj. Fast forward to 2 weeks later, I get an email stating that I was charged $100 for a cancellation fee for November 18th. How is that possible when I was in attendance that night? I’ve called NUMEROUS times, left messages, and sent emails about this matter. NOBODY has reached out to me about this matter and now I’m having to dispute this amount. I’m very disappointed at the lack of professionalism at this establishment. This establishment is costly. People are spending a lot of money just to dine there and you mean to tell me that you all can’t return a phone call about a mistake that you made? I would rather spend my hard earned money at an establishment who treats you with dignity. Yes, the ambiance is nice but whoever owns it, needs to have a conversation with management. Now I’m having to go through A LOT to get what is owed to me.

Beautiful ambiance and we equally enjoyed the cuisine and cocktails. Well done across the board and looking forward to coming back again soon!

On December 2nd a groups of friends, my hubby and I went on a date night at Koya. It’s a vibe. The décor is enchanting and I love the hidden speak easy, but the entertainment on this night was a little less than entertaining. In my opinion the music did not match the lady in red sashaying about the room and the lady twirling fire. We had a party of 6 adults who like to enjoy a good cocktail. We inquired about obtaining a section at the speakeasy after dinner. Our server told us if we ordered a bottle then we would be able to reserve seating at the speakeasy once we were done with dinner. For starters we ordered empanadas and oysters. I don’t eat seafood so I didn’t try the oysters, but everyone else liked them. The empanadas missed the mark! No seasoning or flavor at all, but the dipping sauce was great! For dinner I enjoyed the rib eye and sweet potato “casserole”. The food was flavorful but not to die for. We ordered a bottle of Don Julio for the table and enjoyed good conversation with our server as he prepared drinks for us at the table. When it was time for us to pay the bill, we noticed a couple more shots were added to the tab that should have been removed when we ordered the bottle. Our server was able to make those adjustments immediately. We then inquired about transitioning to the speakeasy; that’s when we were told that because we finished our bottle of Don Julio, that we would not be able to obtain a seat at the speakeasy. We would have to order another bottle (another 3.5 Benjamins). Absolutely NOT! We had every intention of ordering more cocktails at the speakeasy when we finished the bottle, but our main intention was to secure seating. After back-and-forth conversations with management, and explaining what was shared with us by the server. The female manager explained to us that is not their policy, and that was incorrect information. Every, great manager understands that “incorrect information shared by a member of their establishment” is not the customers’ problem; so she worked something out at the speakeasy to accommodate what was told to us. We were escorted to an area with two small couches in the speakeasy next to the DJ. The female DJ was poppin playing Afrobeats. People were dancing, enjoying good conversation and cocktails. The setting was dope, until the host escorted a random person into our section and seated her on the coach without consulting with anyone. That’s usually not a problem because we can vibe with anyone to keep the party going, but her vibe was not a match. So we dipped! All in all for a low key vibe the speak easy is on point. The décor is amazing. The food is… depends on your pallet. I’m from the South so ya girl needs seasoning. The drinks were good! Koya gets a 4/5 from me. Just because we were in good company and it’s always a great time with my peeps. I would advise you to try for yourself, but be mindful of the bottle service situation.

The filet mignon was cooked medium to perfection. Lots of flavor! The lamb chops were very flavorful as well with pomegranate mixed in the sauce. The pomegranate was a different taste with lamb but complimented it really well. The potato puree was simple yet tasty! Sonia was our waitress and she was amazing! The ambiance is wonderful. The Music is perfect!

Madison took such great care of us! The food 10/10 and the music/entertainment was so much fun. Couldn’t have had a better date night. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or just have a fun night!

Koya is such an VIBE! We enjoyed excellent customer service from the moment we walked through the door. The food was cooked to perfection and our waitress Sonya was the BEST! She was very attentive, friendly and gave wonderful recommendations. We will definitely be back.

We had a birthday dinner here among friends and the experience is mediocre. The food wasn’t great especially for the price they charging and the service was pretty slow. We literally had to wave down someone just to get some service at our table. For the $1200 that we spend for a party of 7, there’s a lot of better options out there.

Great food, amazing staff good food and drinks and great sound system and the entertainment and decor made the place have a great atmosphere. Marquise was a great and nice gentleman he did not hesitate to help us out at any moment we needed it. Definitely recommend this place to all my friends and anyone visiting Houston Tx!

What an amazing dining experience! The atmosphere is gorgeous, staff is friendly and attentive and the FOOD! Wow, usually when I have gone to a new restaurant the food and entire experience is a not ALL great. BUT WOW! Every single dish was prepared to perfection. The pulpo is insanely delicious, the lamb was absolutely perfect and the lobster ravioli rivals some of the best I have had anywhere across the country. I loved it so much that I am having my birthday dinner there! Koya is in a league of it's own.

Love this new spot! Design is top notch and live performances and DJ combo is a nice touch. We did family style and all the food was great.we hung out on Lounge side after dinner to keep the party going and will def be back soon!

Place is wide open, spacious, nice ambience, music and decor.

There are 2 parts where you can enjoy dining area or other hidden side where the bar is.

Food is delicious, I ordered few Tapas plates and they were excellent.

Service was great, GM and chef came by and asked about everything. Great initiative.

Restrooms are clean, excellent Job on that.

Hostesses are nice and very professional

Valet parking available.

I recommend this place for nice and special occasions as well.

However, what truly sets Koya Restaurant apart is the exceptional service provided by the manager, Marquis. He effortlessly manages every aspect of the restaurant with a genuine warmth and professionalism that is rare to find. He takes the time to personally connect with each guest, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and well taken care of. Marquis' attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience is truly commendable.

Madison and Arash were also very helpful and great. We had a great time overall

Had such a great time with my girl friends the past 2 weekends. The decor in the restaurant is absolutely stunning. I tried the crudo, pulpo, mussels, and lamb. The food was delicious. The entertainment definitely was a hit then we ended in the speak easy. Can’t wait for our next girls night

Food was great! I ordered the Octopus and Lobster Ravioli. The Ambience was great I was a bit let down on the entertainment bc there was only 1 dancer and sometimes she would take long breaks leaving us with no entertainment. Wish it was more entertaining but the food was good overall n friendly staff

I see what they are trying to do, but food and service wasn’t good especially for the price. Visually stunning until you look closer and it looks a bit cheap. The entertainment also needs improvement.

Had so much fun this weekend. Drinks were great, food was delicious and very beautiful to see, and the entertainment was so much fun. I can’t stress how great this place is this for a fun weekend, girls date, date night etc. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed every dish, cooked to perfection. Great service and all around great vibes. The speak easy is a unique bonus.
