Management here seems pretty dense. They don't seem to understand we want to get our groceries and pay and get on our way. They never open both sections of the self checkout machines or more than two regular registers, no matter how long the lines are. I've set my basket down and walked out several times.

Management couldn’t care less about checkout times. 25 people waiting to check out and not a single manager to be found. Wasn’t a holiday or even prime shopping time for the store. Disgraceful

I was in town for my bday and ordered a cake and it was so disappointing not the design I ordered. I asked for a certain design in the book. This is what I got. Didn’t wana cause a scene I bought it and threw it away. I should have gone somewhere else.

I placed an online order for a pickup today- JUNE 20,2023. The pickup time was 6: 30pm & I checked in prior to that. I waited patiently in the car until 7: 05pm. Long story short, my mom walked up to the entrance and the door was locked. She tried to explain that we were waiting for a pickup. She was advised that the pickup department was closed and I could try again in the morning! Now I’m on hold with customer support because I want a refund at this point. No one bothered to call, leave a voicemail, email, or text- just wow! Time wasted, will definitely deactivate my Kroger account, Tom Thumb is better anyway.

This location has saved me a few times when I'm in the area. It's slightly tucked away so there's no major traffic issues. I find the parking lot a tad wonky though.

I'm assuming this is an older store due to the layout. The walking space between the registers and the aisles may be just about 5 feet. It's cozy. It doesn't take much to block an aisle.

The store itself is fairly clean. The staff I've interacted with are cordial. The prices are decent. Old or not it's a great location.

Often has important things out of stock, including cream, eggs, and other staples. Especially difficult to shop for a special diet. Meat department closes early and will not help you even if there is something still out you want to get. Somehow doesn't have mixed beans for soup, but with the number of basic staples they seem to fail at stocking I am not surprised.

I LOVE Kroger! They are always fully stocked & friendly. This store is very clean. I would highly recommend this store to do your shopping.

UPDATE: 2 years ago made this review and gave Kroger 5 stars. Now I had to re-view it and to give them 1 star. The past year, they've been giving a very poor performance. I've caught them lying on sale priced items, have rotten produce, having to bag my own groceries, over charging me for items that were on sale. One of their employees from the floral department smacked a large box into my bad knee and never apologized for it. The only thing that they would do is give us an apology and a $10 credit but nothing has changed.

I am now a Wal-Mart customer! Apparently, they don't want there customers happy. We spent $250- $300 weekly there at Kroger. Your TV commercials are very misleading & all your former customers know that.

I have been a customer at this kroger since it opened. This is the kroger on Lamar Blvd. In Arlington TX. I went there tonight (Sunday nite) about 11: 15 PM. I was appalled that there was not one single solitary light burning in their parking lot. You could not see your hand in front of you if you got out of your car. I asked the person inside that was in charge what in the world was going on - she stated that the parking lot lights have been out since the storm that we had about 4 days ago. I can understand that the weekend may delay getting the problem fixed, but what kind of store shows that they have no regard for the safety of all their customers after dark in their parking lot? They should have provided security or used some type of alternate lighting to give safe passage in their huge parking lot for their nighttime customers.

Been shopping here for years, but being treated like you are a thief is one thing I will not tolerate! My father is handicap, and on a fixed income. He has food stamps, but his card strip is broken. I've been putting in his numbers manually at every grocery store without a problem. As a matter of fact; a week prior I've done it at this location, and was not a problem. The other day a lady asked for my ID, and said I would have to get my elderly handicapped father to come in with his card to get his groceries. Now he has to wait a week to go grocery shopping again.

This store has been getting worse and worse over the years. Most things are out of stock, the meat is not good and already turning brown. Tried to use the bathroom and it was so bad. Very very dirty and toilet paper just sat on the nasty floor. Staff seems so over worked and you can often hear them complaining. I only come here when I have to at this point.

This used to be my ‘Go To’ store, but over the last few years, not so much.
Trying to get anyone to answer the phone is ridiculous, and even when you do, it’s curt. No ‘Good afternoon - thank you for calling, they just bark, Kroger.
The reason I was trying to reach a manager, is because I tried their pick up service, and items that they charged me for, and showed that were in my bags - weren’t. Then when I requested a refund, (I did receive that promptly), but my final charges do not mesh with what my bank account shows.
I tried the online chat, and got disconnected.

I miss shopping at this store. But due to my poor health and being in hospice, etc, I have to shop online and my husband picks it up. So I was so happy to see they offered delivery and pick up. I've used them twice so far and negative experience both timed. First time, sour milk. This time they alerted me to 2 items they would have to substitute, I said ok. But my husband brought groceries home. No cake, or salsa for his 71st birthday tomorrow. Didn't even mention or give a heads to us on items they didn't have. We have stores much closer. I sadly won't use them again. If they can't be bothered to communicate with us then we won't communicate with them.
But sadly it's my last time to spend birthday with him.

Bakery "Manager" Doris seems to have a problem with everyone and uses racial slurs towards other employees. Maybe try keeping that to yourself where customers won't hear it.

I was overwhelmed by the friendly staff. Store was very clean and easy to navigate. The seafood and deli items looked very fresh and well prepared. But the best part of my experience was a lady named Barbara in the deli. When I approached the counter, she immediately offered her assistance. I asked her to "shred" my garlic bologna and lemon pepper chicken lunch meats. She said that she had never shredded bologna before and that she would be happy to do it. She process both of my orders perfectly, with a friendly smile an attitude. She further asked continually during serving me if there was anything else she could do for me. She was engaging and seemed very happy to be at her job working with the public. When she handed me my meat products that she had just prepared for me, she actually sang the song from Carol Burnett show. Meaning as she was handing me my two bags of meat she sang "it was so nice that we had this time together". We both laughed and she has no idea she made my day with her great work attitude and she was super friendly. Kudos and Kroger for hiring employees like Barbara who care about their customers and their jobs.

Employee would not let me have a cart and told me to walk to the other end of the store even though my hand was currently on a cart. Ridiculous and rude for no reason

I just left the store and took Lyft home. Tried calling because I forgot my bread but no one would answer. Tried several times and still no answer. The automated system was very frustrating. Just trying to get in touch with someone to help me retrieve my bag.
