Grocery Store Kroger reviews
15I don’t know why on their hours it says they close at 1am when I went last night it was closed by 11pm
I’m surprised there is a 4 star rating for this store. I like krogers in general, but this one is terrible. Employees are rude or just generally don’t care. Produce and meat are usually trash. Plus good luck getting a cart you don’t have to man handle down the isles. They just spent a bunch to reorganize this store and got new card scanners, but if they cared at all about the customers experience they should have gotten knew carts instead. If I know I need a cart I go somewhere else. Really anywhere else.
Store is ok. Would love to see it look more like the one on Maple. Anyways I am getting really irritated at these cell phone and bank workers waiting for us to make eye contact so they can bother us about switching. Stop it please! I'm really tired of it and now I'm sure I come off as rude. I know what's out there! If I wanted it I'd get it.
Came here and had over $50 worth of groceries, I left my debt card in the car and told the lady I had to run and get my card. I come back she has moved all my food to the front to her station but on the floor. I asked here if that was my food and she kindly said yes I left! Not only was it rude and disgusting but embarrassing. I will never shop with krogers again!
Yes. Thank u Dionne for helping me get my Kroger app together. U were so patient n sweet at heart. I give u 5 star's. It was around 3: 30pm she was the self checkout lady.
This location has gone down hill. There is a gnat infestation, and today the meat section smelled like a decomposing corpse! No one should eat from there until the health department clears it.
I hate this store. The only reason I shop here is because of convenience. Since Walmart closes early and drive is 15-20 minutes away. Self check out never work. Slow cashiers. Store set up is unorganized. Who put candy next to oatmeal.
It's good for my needs I can't speak on anyone else. Like Forrest Gump "That's all I have to say about that. " Lol
Today June 29 2023 had the worst shopping experience. I invited a friend to the Duncanville location to buy some sodas
My friend bought sodas on sale but I was denied service and was harassed by Cashier Corey at the self checkout. I asked to speak to the manager and he said NO! As a paying customer i couldn’t purchase my drinks because he said my friend had purchased to many. What does that have to do with my purchases? I’m also a paying customer.
So I guess don’t take or invite anyone with you
To Kroger if you want to buy any thing on sale!
Back to cashier Corey he didn’t let me make purchase and didn’t not let me speak with the manager (Corey) said the manager was busy in the back unloading boxes and didn’t want to speak to me. This doesn’t make sense HORRIBLE customer service by this employee
I ordered a cake for my better half went in to check on the progress and talked to Miss Linwood (cakeologist) she in formed me that the cake comes in gold not brown so I asked can she make it brown cause my better half loves brown she assured me that the cake would be brown to my surprise the cake was perfect Thank you and he loved it as well she deserves a raise and 100 stars from now on she is my cakeologist. Wish I could leave a picture
Cool store, they thought I stole my nicorette gum and sent a lady to check my receipt. Pharmacy dept didn't take the theft thingy off and it set the alarm off as I was exiting It's all good
On top of this Kroger being mediocre at best, I have to play cashier and ring myself up. I won’t be shopping at Kroger if this is how it’s going to be.
Just leaving this store and management should be ashamed. Self checkout was the only option and only one station accepted cash. The associate working the station walked the line to see if anyone had a large volume of items. She was going to leave her station and open a register. Everyone had a handful of items. The line was halfway down the aisle. The associate spoke with a Spanish woman in regular clothes. She told her no one had a lot of items so it was ok. The associate asked if anyone could come check out customers. She was told she could open a register. She advised her if she left no one would be available to assist self service customers. I'm lost as to why this supervisor thought it was beneath her to check customers. Her snarky responses and her acceptance of excessive long lines as good customer service boggles the mind. Poor leadership and definitely left feeling as if customers are not valued. Do better Kroger management!
The customer service is wonderful. I received all my items with only one substitution. Everything was fresh and sacked perfectly. I also saved about $30 more than normal. I did an online order.
The grocery store, in general, could be kept better maintained. I stopped by to purchase produce and other items for a BBQ cookout. Most of the produce did not look appealing to purchase. The bread prices were too high. There were not many price deals offered for basic staple foods. I gave this store a low grade because they need to work on upkeeping the store in better shape and also help the consumers by providing better deals and produce options.
