Kroger, Houston TX

There is nothing wrong with the store itself, but I definitely question the ethics of the company when they have 70 year old women collecting carts in 100 degree weather. Can I please ask the GM of this store to position her role in something that is more physically friendly to the elderly? Having a 16 year old bag groceries while an elderly lady collects carts seems hardly like the correct delegation of duties.

I am happy that even though the mask mandate will be lifted they are requiring guests, employees and vendors to wear masks.

Don't go to the Meyerland Kroger in Houston if you have a medical condition that exempts you from wearing a face mask. They will make you and everyone in your party leave. Refuse to service you and your party at the checkout and curse at you all the way thru the store to the door. This is the closest grocery store to where I live and have been shopping there for over10 years. I'll never shop at that store ever again. They wouldn't even listen to our explanation which we legally did not have to provide. Only 1 member of our party was without mask, the one who was exempt. I don't know his name, but the man doing the cursing said he was the manager. As a final shot, the self important Barney Fife security guard told us at the door to never come back and he thought it was ok to put his hands on that one member if our party to lead him out if the store.

Horrible. Kept texting that curbside order was ready, then told us it was a 1 hour wait. NO curbside parking. What a joke!

I stopped by this Kroger instead of the usual store on Gray. I went to the deli for lunch. The lady in the deli started yelling at me and hitting her coworker with the container for the food and she wasn't waiting on me, she just came from the back.
I reported this to the manager.
I has learned, employees do what they are allowed to do. I have never been treated like this before trying to order food.

This is the most unprofessional Kroger I’ve ever been to. From the store manager, security guards, and cashiers. Everyone there is rude and good customer service is non existent. Also, some of the meat I bought from there was rotten. They really need to fire everyone there and hire new people.

Just left the store. The bacon and ham area were not meeting cooler temp was at 47.8F should be 40F or less, I will be calling the health department.

I went to Kroger’s today to buy a turkey, I used an EBT card and apparently their system was acting up so for some reason I had a few items that did not belong to me on my account the lady at the self check out Gwen who is hilarious btw tried to help but kind of made it worse not knowing, bless her soul (super sweet lady) she ended up calling Yolanda a young lady who went beyond and I mean beyond her way to help rectify the problem I love this Kroger’s location! Yolanda is amazing and deserves a raise, promotion, bonus, something! She is just fantastic, thank you Yolanda.

This place has gone so fair down hill Friday night 830 deli closed and 2 people said oh she went home early sorry but its supposed to close at 9.the produce sections was bare half the cokes shelves were empty iles were dirty then checkout time lol 2 lanes open and atleast 15 people waiting took 20 min to get threw the line no baggers just bad management especially with the Heb so close and always clean and stocked and another fixing to open even closer I have a feeling this place is going to close when that opens.

Health Department order them to throw all meat away as the cooler was out of temperature and could not be sold. They put all meat in shopping carts and we’re just pushing it to the back of the store. They did not say when they would be getting fresh meat or have the cooler repaired to read correct temperatures and there is no proof the current meat will be destroyed. Do Not Shop here!

Margarita, the one who is in customer service for western union was very rude. She didn’t even try to Help me out with my transaction I needed. Very unprofessional.

Worst experience ever in Houston. My wife created and order online for pickup at this store since we have a newborn and cannot go outside. She spend almost 30 minutes to create an $115 order, when we went, with our new born, to pick it up, on August 11 at 6: 50 PM, they told us that they were having a delay of 20 minutes that we accepted, after 30 minutes we call back and we were told that they were sorry but they still needed more time, we asked to have it delivered to our house but we were told the delivery person was leaving. Finally, we spent 1 hour and 30 minutes, 5 calls in which we were able to communicate and were promised that they only needed 10 minutes and 3 calls that were not answered. Unfortunately we had to leave the store without the purchase. In conclusion, I will never buy in a Kroger store.

Not quite the store it once was, but a reasonable amount of fresh produce and good meat department.

The primary reason for my visit was the pharmacy which has one of the greatest customer service I have experienced in SW Houston. Knowledgeable and kind pharmacists.

This store is one of the nicest Kroger stores to which we have been. It's bright, clean and well stocked, and has a good selection of flowers.

Not a good experience on a Saturday. The store smelled like something rotten food. Product Department look bad, all the lettuces were brown and wilted. When I brought it to the attention of the product staff, she seem unconcerned. I will not visited this location again

Online hours say the store is open 24 hours. I drove there only to find that the store is closed. Posted hours are actually from 6am to 1am. Waste of time.

1pm Tuesday-Long lines and no express lanes open. However, a very friendly employee helped me in the frozen food section.

This new store manager Ron was fired from kroger 397 for cursing several employees only one employee got it on video

Pretty great place to shop! The parking lot lights dont work for some reason though they should fix it.
