Kroger, Houston TX

This review is going to be about Lonnie Buchanan the Store Manager. As other people said in their reviews, you do not want to work here while Lonnie is the store manager. (To be completed)

The customer service has always been pretty decent. Been going here for a good 15 years. DONT EVER WORK THERE THO.management are always bunch of hateful hacks

O/S Lot Attendant, a younger-n-me black fellow.saw me hobbling toward E-carts & got one ready 4 me.
Others commented favorably under Questions.
Your prepackaged Creamy Cole Slaw SUX! I've saved plastic carton in case I gotta Puke later on.
Then setting in front of your entrance doors w/ lid Off, obverse side Warning potential Victims.
Be prepared.
Otherwize I was surprized @ mostly Lower Prices, tho' one High: K's Heavy Cream @ $4.99 for the smaller bottle.
Don't get too proud of yourselves: mark some stuff low As In Loss Leaders only to mark Up other items Hoping all your customers braindead.
Ain't many K.items I like Better than HEB, then Walmart.but Kroger used 2B my #1 Favorite.
Nonetheless: This store.

Once again meat not in stock that's on sale, started to shop at 8AM instead, earlier due to being forced to use self checkout, still had to use self checkout had problems even the Kroger person couldn't figure out what was going on. This is supposed to be a FULL service store. Hire some checkers! We are paying full service prices.

Prices are reasonable and the variety is very good. Clean and well-stocked. Checkouts are usually pretty quick so no complaints there. Fresh produce section is well-stocked and the produce is clean and fresh. Beer prices are surprisingly low. Highly recommend!

This store was bad all around.
Customer service was terrible, telling me they couldn't give me the ecpn I didn't get (after silently staring at the receipt for 3 minutes.) The selection is poor compared to newer stores. There's the same product in multiple isles, I don't want to have to check 2 or 3 aisles for the selection. Not a single employee greeted me or said hello until I went to check out.
I hope I won't need to go back to this location again.

My Kroger store maybe the oldest in the Houston. But the service is awesome, the employees offer awesome service. Thank you Woodforest Kroger.

The employees are very pleasant. And they make sure the customers are taking care of. I Love shopping there.

Very neat and clean store with great employees. Smaller than the usual Kroger but it still has everything I need.

Great prices and sales. Huge selection to choose from. The store could be a little bit more cleaner and staff could be more friendlier they are serving the public!

I usually don’t think to check my receipt to make sure everything’s correct. This time I decided to check and sure enough, cashier Sarai charged me twice for the same product.
After having to drive back to the store from home for a refund, cashier Kate at service desk was rude for no reason.

As a frequent customer, I was not please with both of these visits in one day.

Krogers is a very good store. I like to shop there.they have my favorite ice cream there and some other things that I buy from there It's not to far from home

Customer service was excellent including very convenient grocery checkout services. However, I do not enjoy the latest reshelving of stock. If I go in looking for a single item, it is often difficult to find.
I am a senior citizen and I have difficulty looking for items that, to me, are not in logical placement. But, overall, I enjoy the shopping experience. Your employers are always helpful with quick check-out services.

This Kroger has never lived up to the reputation of a quote Superstore. It's really not very clean. Today I found several cinnamon rolls in a tube that were burst. Then of course there's always the cracked eggs that have fossilized at the bottom of the case. And today there were 40 people at least climbing in the aisles to stock products which means it's very difficult to shop there. If there was another store of any kind close by except HEB I'd go there.

Don't get me wrong, I like Kroger, but why are the shopping carts so god awful? Rusted, squeaky, sticky. I can't stand it. Please, for the love of God, replace the carts.

This store stay dirty. Never clean. Actually been due for an upgrade (remodel). Never have fresh meat. I literally have to go to meat store on the side of town where I work. If this wasn't up the street from me, they would never get my money. Really needs improvement

Excellent variety of choices. Lots of different tortillas, yogurts and coffees just to name a few.

I know most by name, because they’re nice but others in the deli department can use a class on customer service ethics.

The workers are really nice and do there job with joy. They represent the business. And they do it really well.
