Grocery Store Kroger reviews
32A dirty store chock-full of rude employees and subpar customer service. Plus, homeless vagrants are allowed to hang around outside panhandling the customers.
The tall dark haired guy that works at the Starbucks is so rude. After my drink came out half empty he proceeded to mansplain that that’s how it’s supposed to be. Sorry, but no. No drink should be half empty. But thanks for being pushy and not letting me just say “okay” and leave. I tried to just walk away with my half empty drink and he said “no give it to me. ” And just filled it up with milk. Surprise! It tasted just like a tall glass of warm milk. Safe to say I just threw it away. I can understand that behavior if I was being rude but all I said was “I’m sorry, this is half full” and he went off.
Very disappointed today here. I am 68 years old and had to bag my own groceries. I don't mind but the cashier had real attitude. Didn't thank me and was sour through the entire transaction. Because I was bagging the next customer came up to the register NOT keeping distance. I know everyone is frustrated with this pandemic but I don't like coming out either. I appreciate the people who are working and I always thank them. Not this time, this gal needs to go home! On top of everything else the system did NOT deduct several e-coupons I loaded to my card to the tune of over $10. Seriously consider giving them up and going back to Albertsons and WinCo for my $200 grocery trip every week. GOODBYE KROGER!
Since I brought my own large bags, Rose / Cashier precedes to tell the bagger to walk away from there. I had 94 items for a total of $244. Rose tells me, we're not supposed to touch your groceries if I brought my own bag. I told her I wanted plastic bags and I'll take the plastic bag and put them in my own bag.
Instead she gives me an attitude & oh we don't work for Kroger. I'm like hang on a second doesn't your name tag say Kroger on it, don't you get a paycheck from Kroger. The attitude, bad experience.
All fat woman are unhappy and full of hatred. Or was it because I was Black Male.
Every single time I go in Kroger I get screwed. This time I was over charged by $20. It’s a long trip back into town. I have made a new rule for myself: starve before I ever set foot in Kroger again.

On top of it, the petite Hispanic girl working the east end self check out was very, very rude as hell.

I’ve been shopping here on and off for years. Recently I’ve had 3 instances where leaving checkout I’ve had an item or 2 missing when getting home and putting things away. I’ve had to return and get a manager to explain what’s happened and get the item replaced. It’s embarrassing and a hassle when the management blows you off and attitudes are less than acceptable. I’ve chosen to shop elsewhere as a result. I’ve rated it 2 stars because their stock is good but the store is managed poorly. Mistakes are often overlooked with kind staff but sadly there’s a shortage here.
Rodent Infestation! Glad they are finally taking care of the massive rodent infestation. Kroger closed Sept 4th 2018 for extensive rat poisoning. They declined to publicly disclose this, instead saying they were closed for facility problems. Consumers deserve to know when their safety is at risk.
Big Hariy Rats.stinky seafood. Deli worker digging in his nose. Customer Service. Very Rude.health risk.
This place is disgusting and overcrowded. Parking is a nightmare, and management is a joke. Seriously? I read from the health inspection sheet that this place used to have a serious issue with flies and maggots in the soup/salad bar and a missing ceiling tile above the deli that took WEEKS to resolve. Management clearly doesn't care. Don't shop here. Go to the one on Loop 288 if you must.
Store is not managed well. I visit the deli daily and I regularly have to wait five minutes just for someone to turn around and notice me.
Management is rude when I complained about getting the wrong item from the deli. Given the store was just closed down for health violations.well, that should say everything.
Go anywhere else! The parking lot is horrible! Death trap waiting to happen. Staff is super rude. They have a horrible rodent issue that gets into food. Unless eating rat pee and droppings is your thing. The one on 288 is great though!
The employees here provide wonderful service. I just wish that this Kroger had a better parking lot.
It's convenient, I've been finding a bunch of expired products lately. Store is always clean, plus there's a Starbucks:)
Out of all the Kroger’s I’ve been to, this one has awful customer service. Our cashier Ashley stood there texting while we waited to be checked out. I had to ask her if she was ready to check us out otherwise we would have been left standing there for who knows how long.
Wasn't crowded for a typical Sunday, pretty much everything we needed was stocked, and the isles weren't blocked with stocking carts.
They really need to remodel this store, it's old and needs a major update. It's very busy and they need to work on cleaning it more. I love Kroger, but come on Kroger it's time to make a change.
Some times you wanna go where everybody knows your naaaaaaaame dun dun dun dun and th'r always glad u caaaaaaame dun dun dun i 1
I prefer to shop in the Kroger on the Loop, because of the parking situation at the one on University it's always a madhouse getting in and out of the parking lot.
Busy, but love the employees. Rose, Chris, lady at self ck. Out w/ glasses, Mr. Pierce, and I believe the gentleman is Horace in the dairy area.
I mean yea its hard to find a parking spot sometimes but Its just like every other parking lot you'll ever see. Open 24 hours which is nice.
