Kroger Marketplace reviews
16 Pros:
-Close to home
-Searchable kroger website takes you right to the aisle and bin of the item you are looking for!
-Grocery pickup is super convenient
-Shopping area is clean, organized & well lit
Cons:
-FRUIT FLIES from the produce. Several times recently we've gotten fruit flies from Kroger and it is a huge pain to eradicate them at home.
-Parking. The employees take all of the parking spots close to the entrance. So you're guaranteed a walk.
Air pump outside flattened my tire I tried it 3 times
Now I'm stuck here with a flat I tried toget help from the store but nothing. I asked the emoyee at the gas pump to get mea manager and he said ma'am you need to turn it to air. Really! I now I haveto.put in my spare to take my tire somewhere to get air. Thanks for nothing idiots!
The best thing about this store is their customer service. Every member of the staff that we have interacted with has been helpful! They are always helpful.
What I like about this Kroger is that the laid out it’s very logical and the aisle categories are well marked And if you want sushi, they can even make it for you. Also if you want one specific cut of meat, they'll do it for you too. How do you want your deli meat/cheese cut?
Her yo can find not just groceries but household items, medicines, toiletries, cleaning supplies, clothing, pharmacy and curbside service. I really recommend it.
Ironic how the people at the customer service desk lack actual customer service skills. Do yourself a favor and just go to the H‑E‑B down tuckerton. This Kroger lost my business.
Located in the Towne Lake area on the SW corner of Barker Cypress & Tuckerton. It's a large well stocked store with a large variety of items. It's suitable for one stop shopping.
This is our local Kroger and we really love it. They have some good procedures in place that allow you to do self checkout much more efficiently and fast. They also have people there at the lines to help you check out. They always seem to be well stocked and one of the great things is that if you can talk to the manager and have them order things that you don't see in stock. For example we asked to have it some brands of soup added and we were able to pick them up a week or two later. The store is kept clean and there are plenty of people to help you if you have any questions.
The manager is rude and the Cashier Nora wes so rude and keep arguing for the stuff which we are trying to buy.
It's the mistake to go in the morning because of these rude people they mess up your day. This Kroger have most of rude people
Most of the time I'm going for my groceries in this store but in one month 2 times tried to buy cup cakes price tag was 69c each when I was at self check out associat checked said no 1.29 each first time that person said go check yourself I changed my mind said I dont want.today again I grabbed 8 cup cakes and asked person at bakery and she saw the price and said yes is 69 cent each again at self check out associat said no 1.29 realy? ! Is disappointed. I didnt buy it I didnt want go asking for manager iwas tired back from work.not good at least someone have to check and correct items prices 2 times happend and still if price is wrong no one checked what's going on
This is the second of three Kroger's I tried in the Katy, TX area to find the Kroger soda water I buy. The shelves were empty of the diet cherry cola I like at all three Kroger stores. This store had so many empty shelves of the items on sale (it was Thursday, the second day of the sale for that week). I won't be returning to this store.
I am very good about checking my dates on fresh chicken and meats however, I missed this one when I saw the Tyson Chicken Breasts on sale last week! Turns out they were expired & did I pay the price. Ended up deathly ill For nearly a week! I have had problems with shelf products expiring way before their date but now this? BE CAREFUL & check your dates
For some weird reason, this Kroger stopped stocking Horizon Organic milk 1 gallon bottles. Other Krogers in the area still stock them.
I love this store and especially love going on Sundays. They have a saxophonist playing near the entrance. He plays contemporary music and you can hear it through the store.
Kroger I hope you see this! I saw a young man today who was exceptional working at your store! As we walked in to the store an older lady who had just exited his check out station had her case of water fall off her basket. He excused himself from his current customer and quickly helped the older lady with her case of water. Cudos to this young man showing that being a gentleman is still alive in some of the young people. Because of what we saw upon entering we chose to use him to check out with. Very pleasant, greeted us, looked us in the face and smiled, thanked us for our business and for a bonus even the guy bagging our groceries wished us a great day. I don’t know who is training these young men but bravo!
I love the people that beg for money while you shop it makes me feel good about shopping here
I am sad to see that this store is going downhill since Covid started. The shelves have never returned to being fully stocked. They recently moved the aisles to create the illusion that their store is stocked more. The Butcher is gone, the book/ magazine aisle is gone and saw that the Sushi island is gone today. There seemed like less bakery items and it seems you now have to search the parking yourself for a shopping cart as for the last few months whenever I come there are no carts to be had inside. But they have security sitting at a silly little gate for what purpose? I have started to wonder if they will be closing the store soon.
The fact you close your pharmacy for “lunch” in the middle of the day is ridiculous. You don’t open the pharmacy till 0900 as it is. Basically you’ve eliminated the opportunity for a working customer to pick up their prescriptions at anytime unless they fight afternoon traffic on Barker Cypress, it take time away from their job. Service has gone down tremendously….
