Kroger Pharmacy reviews
1 My experience today has been unacceptable. I understand that it is a holiday, but i got a text this morning saying my prescription is ready. The pharmacy was not only closed, but they told the elderly woman in front of me that they would "be right back" and she sat there and they never came back.
If they are closing at 2: 00, they need to have that posted outside with the store hours, or include it in the prescription texts. I am completely out of my medication and there is nothing I can do since there is nobody who can transfer it to a pharmacy which is open.
I spoke with a manager, who at first actedlike he knew nothing of them being closed today. Then he pointed to a TINY sign and said "oh they are all closed. " Apparently he hadnt known either but had the gall to act like I was stupid for not knowing. Not only that, but he insinuated that if I rely on a medication that I SHOULD know.
This rude, disrespectful and unsympathetic man has no place in management, and I say that as someone who has worked management in the industry. I hate writing bad reviews but unfortunately this one is warranted. Can't remember his name as my mind was on the situation, but he was an older man, I think his name was Robert or something along those lines.
Everyone there was rude and completely unsympathetic with the situation. You cant mess with peoples medications. This is something extremely important and full transparency needs to be made if they are closing early. Even if I had seen that tiny sign, it would have already been too late since I was already there.
I am now going without very important medication thanks to Kroger's negligence.
100% unacceptable behavior by Kroger and its staff. If they had even shown an ounce of sympathy and not talked down to me, maybe I could forgive them neglecting to tell me that I could not get life saving medication today.
This isn't even my first horrible experience here! Last month, a woman who had no idea what she was doing assisted me at the pharmacy. She was a complete mess and gave me someone else's medications initially. It took 20 minutes to pick up two prescriptions. I'm pretty sure she was not even a pharmacist!
