Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki - Nolana, McAllen TX

If you're in a rush.don't let their curbside fool you.they will go over passed the promised time and have you wait there an extra 10min just for kicks.worst curbside experience

I waited over an hour and a half and the food was still not ready. Was very disappointed with the experience. Manager did not even care when I told him I wanted to cancel.

Terrible experience at Kumori (Nolana location). Multiple items that we ordered were either undercooked or never arrived. I asked to speak to a manager, to which the waitress replied that “he was upstairs and probably wouldn’t come out to speak to a customer anyway. Also, that he never seems to help the waitstaff should they have a concern and that they are simply told to figure it out”.
Overall, it will be a long time before we return to this establishment.

This was the absolute worst experience. We ordered 2 rolls, one never arrived. We ordered edemames, were so hard and undercooked. I sent them back only to have the same served. We never got the sunomuno salad either. We ordered the entree portion of ebi tempura and instead got the appetizer full of vegetables, even after clarifying that I did not want the appetizer. The Kumori rice was dry and looked like leftovers. I asked the waitress to remove the 2 items we never got and asked to speak to the manager. She said he wouldn’t come. This is sad service. It didn’t used to be like this.

My daughter and I enjoyed a nice quiet dinner in this location. We've tried other Kumori restaurants throughout the Valley, this location has one of the best vibes. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The staff was great and the manager made sure to stop by each table to make sure his customers were happy with their food and service.

Had an overall great experience. Food came out quick. Everything was made exactly how we wanted it. The GM stopped by to check up on us. But, everything was excellent!

Etc they take very long time to realize that we are there and even if ask them something they didn’t respond then they bring the food with no sauces my friends was asking for the sticks so many times each time they tell us ok we will bring and we were just waiting and waiting very long time

I'd give zero stars but that's not possible. I placed an order to go today @4: 41pm and was told it would be ready in 25 to 30 minutes. When I picked up the order, within the timeframe I was given by Kumori employees it was sitting on a table by the front door. I asked how long it had been sitting there waiting for pickup and was told not long. Huh. Well. It sat there long enough to be lukewarm at best by the time I got home. I will never order to go again!

I wish I would’ve seen the reviews before I ordered from the Favor app. Sushi was mediocre and I ordered mixed rice which ended up just being steamed rice with soy sauce. Only thing good about this place is the spicy mayo and I only got 2 little cups for 2 mixed rice orders and three Cali rolls. Save yourself the trouble and order your dinner somewhere else.

Curb side pick up took 40 mins for two sushi rolls and nothing else. It's not the first time they take this long. Last time we waited 1 hour. Not coming here anymore.

Disgusting food and service. Don't go there unless you want to see rats in their dining area or smell a sewage smell in their lobby.

I wouldve given it no stars but I had to put 1. I put in my order at 7pm and i got there to curbside 8: 24 nothing was done. I waited 30 more minutes nothing was done another 30 minutes nothing was done. I asked for my money back the manager told me he couldnt give me any money back from the cash register he would take my info and foward it and well see if we can get your money back. I told him I'm not leaving empty handed. So he went back into the kitchen to cook it himself. Soo finally leaving at 10pm. I got 6 piece of grilled veggies, my kumori rice and rock shrimp. I shouldve gone to whataburger

Food was great, customer service was ok, but the time they took was ridiculous. More than an hour and had to take my food to go.

Fabulous service! The manager, Jorge, personally recommended their desserts and offered a new drink that wasn't even in the menu, yet. It was DELICIOUS! The food was good and service even better. Will be going back for sure. He also recommended a cheesecake with Bailey's and it was good.

The hostess Joanna was very helpful placed my order over the phone and was our server as well GREAT service she made this dinning experience my favorite one yet thumbs up!

Horrible service, even had to walk up to the bar for silverware since the wait staff lack of service. Getting refills was a whole diffrent story.

Worst to-go service. They took almost an hour to give me my order, and still not get it right. Honestly, don't waste your time at this location, just go to another one.

The server couldn't get our order right. She seemed distracted. We never got our soup. She didn't tell us our checks were in the to go boxes, so we waited a while before one of is finally opened a box and found them.
