Kurai Sushi & Chinese Buffet Pharr

This restaurant doesnt respect 6ft apart rules when it comes to seating. I told the waitress i wanted to move to the next table after she sat down a couple in the table next to me. I moved and then she sat another couple on the table next to me as well, so No they dont respect the 6ft apart rule in the tables. Dont go if you dont want a stranger sitting next to you with less than 1 feet apart.

Had an amazing experience at this location. The safety precautions in place made my husband and I very comfortable with dining in. They are very clean and cautious providing gloves and providing every customer with small tongs to collect their own sushi, as well as providing a container to dispose of the tongs to be cleaned. We witnessed every table being sprayed and sanatized after every customer departed. The employees were all very polite and engaging. We were very well taken care of by our waiter Lee. He was very attentive to any of our needs and very polite and quick to take care of us. And of course the food was really good as well. With this pandemic upon us it's hard to feel safe dining out. But im confident visiting this location again knowing that the environment is safe, clean and sanatized. We have nothing but good things to say about this location and look forward to returning to have our sushi cravings satisfied. Every single piece of food I got was cold, couldn’t even chew the white rice of how hard it was! Just terrible food gave it a try cause of the reviews, but first and last time

It's good. I like that they have a drive through and the menu is pretty simple. The variety of food offered is great and though I'm not a sushi person there's still plenty of options to choose from. The serving sizes given on the plate are enough for two sittings. I was full half way through so I put the plate in the refrigerator for later.

I ordered plate #3 and picked the Lo Mein, Chop Suey, and General Tso chicken. The food tasted fresh which doesn't surprise me because there was a good amount of people that went in and out for the duration of time that I was there. Not everything is on the drive through menu either so I'd recommend going inside some time to check it out.

The friendly service is great but every time I go they don’t give me what I ordered. I stopped going because of that reason. I recommend dining in instead.

The drive thru really sucks. The ladies in the register spend there time chit chatting with my plate in there hands. Took them 15 min to get me my plate. I love there food but hate there service.

They have a wonderful sushi bar and the sushi is excellent! All the food tastes great and freshly made! We loved our waiter, Norbert! Will definitely be back soon!

The food is NOT as good as it used to be.crumbs and more crumbs.the "orange chicken" its just piece of chicken breaded like 3 times. (but yet they did rise up the price) Not coming back sorry but NOT sorry!

Didnt open at 11 today. Was waiting outside and no one ever opened the door or came out to tell us they weren't going to open till later. Thank you to the nice lady who went through the drive-through lane and told us she had been told it could take an hour or more for them to open because the restaurant was having issues with cooking devices.

This place is fantastic if you're looking for a good selection of sushi and a buffet to go with it. Try the California roll! And the Hot Cheetos roll is much better than it sounds. Great service through the drive-thru, which is surprising considering how many ways you can customize your combos. Best part is the price. 2 can eat for just over $20, you won't find that kind of deal at Kumori!

This place used to be really clean and the food was always fresh and stocked. Now they have flies, the food is cold, most of the bowls are empty and there are no plates or silverware. The lemonade is made from sink water and the staff never refills your cups.

My favorite place to eat. Waiters are always on the look for my needs. Food is fresh and delish. Definitely recommend the place.

Great place for sushi lovers but sometimes the food like the orange chicken is cold during slow times.

Ok food limited selection. Sushi is California style rolls only, expect lots of creamcheese and avocado.

Has a variety of sushi to choose from, good fried rice, great waiter service but only 5 entries to choose from.

Place clean and staff helpful, not much space at the counter neither at the short food bar. Was really despointed with eggdrop soup, taste like water. Variety of Sushi and the buffet was very simple for the price tag.

Loved it. Took my family and we had a good time. The staff is on point. No complaints on my behalf from them.
Did see a party of 3 putting food in the woman's purse. I'm assuming to take it home.
