Do not recommend. Went in with spark issues at the beginning of the year and they supposedly replaced my distributor. Less than a year later with the same issue they spent nearly 4 days doing nothing and after towing my truck to a Firestone they had it fixed and running within 4 hours. Wouldn’t even recommend coming here for an oil change unless you have 3+ hours to wait around.

Waited an hour and 20 min to get my state inspection done, but once they got me in it was quick and easy! I understand they are very busy and they where still so nice!

Efficient! They go on a first come, first served basis so no appointments. I was told that people get there right at opening so there is always a little wait, but I came at 10 and was out by 11: 30. I called around and other places said the wait time was 3-4 hours or to schedule two weeks out. This is a great go to! My fiancé always uses them and this was my first time.

They're great for getting your state inspection. You don't need an appointment. It's first come, first serve and they've extended their hours until 7 on weekdays. They have an indoor and outdoor waiting area with free coffee. On my most recent visit was in and out in about 15 - 20 minutes.

First time using their services. I got an oil change with full synthetic oil and had my car inspected. I was in and out in 45 minutes. There were a few people in front of me, but they have a comfortable waiting room and their prices are very reasonable.

I came straight from covert gmc today after being quoted $750 + a $199 diagnostic fee.for a headlight bulb. I had a 2pm appt up there and they told me it would be 24 hours minimum. I called Mike and his team and they were beyond helpful. It took them about an hour total and it was about $175 for the same part and labor up at gmc. I've been coming here for inspections and oil changes for a year but my family will be coming here for everything else from now on. Thanks Kwik Kar team for not ripping me off, involving me in the decisions, communicating really well, and just being good people. See yall again soon!

Customer service was awesome. My only complaint was that it took about an hour to get my car in because they were pretty packed with folks. I showed up at 8am on a Friday. My skid plate just needed to be adjusted or removed and they were super helpful and quick once it was my turn. Ended up being a no charge fix and I really appreciated their help.

This place is a rip off. I got my inspection last year at this place and all went well. Today I tried to get an inspection, and they tell me my tint is too much. I haven't changed my tint since last year and their excuse is "well sometimes you get a different person". If you're doing state inspections then it should be the same across the board. Don't come here for your inspections, don't waste your time, and don't support this business.

Wanted to give a shout out to the crew that did my Oil change on Sunday. Super nice and very professional. I hope the owners or corporate see this review because I want them to know that the manager or the guy running the show (has been there for 7 years or so from what I recall from our conversation) is awesome. I will be a repeat customer after my conversation with him. Keep it up!

Let me start out by saying that I have been DREADING getting my state inspection done for over a month and half. With a newborn, tasks like these are much more complicated. Today I was blown away by the service I received from Will T. He worked to get me in quickly, he let me and my baby stay in the car with the AC on (this was huge because my child was sleeping), and even took my card in for me to pay so I wouldn’t have to lug the car seat in and wake my sleeping baby. Thanks to Will, I will always come back to this location for state inspections! A task I was avoiding was made so simple and easy due to this employee’s help and great attitude!

The most friendly customer service over the phone. They let me know when the best time to get my inspection was for the least amount of wait. When arriving there was a 30-45 minute wait, but they got to me RIGHT AWAY and my inspector, Stephen Larrick, waited patiently while I unloaded my kiddos.

The inside waiting area is very nice with comfy chairs and a good smelling candle, but around the back is an even better outdoor waiting area under a huge tree. My 3 year old played on the rocks and we walked down to their dog park where it is completely shaded.

The checkout was fast and friendly and they took the time to wave goodbye as we left.

I know these are all little things, but in a world where smiling and a helpful friendly voice seem rare it was so nice to experience these things especially when dealing with car maintenance WHILE lugging your kids around.

I can't believe I have lived down the street for 8 years and never been here. Will be back again for my oil change!

This place is great. State inspection done in less than 20 minutes. Mike is the man! Everyone is super sweet and the waiting area is clean and very comfortable.

The best and only car place I will use in Austin. Always quality work and they communicate well and complete the work as quickly as they can. Very competitively priced. Highly recommend.

The manager took my call the I went for a inspection he did it told the girl at the register he was awesome and then found out he was the manager. Keep him he has great customer service

Yes the wait can be long! But I have been coming here for years and even after I moved across the town. I know nothing about cars, so I like how the guys here are honest and don’t try to sell me anything extra. They offer wifi and coffee, so bring your laptop!
