This is a brand new location. Equipment is new and high quality. One of the better LA Fitness locations.

One of the better la fitness in the Houston area. I’m always ready to go get a quick workout and it’s my go to spot for now. Could be cleaner though

Equipment is slightly flimsy and overly cushioned. Wish they had a hex bar and couple other things. Clean and well-run, no other complaints.

Laura was a huge help. I mailed in my cancelation over a month ago and am still being charged. Laura helped fix that and I appreciate it greatly. Love this location but can't do cardio with a mask on.

I've been to several LA Fitness gyms around the U. S, but I have to say, the employees at this gym are awesome and amazing! Every single day I walk through their doors, they're happy, smiling faces greet me and after scanning my card, they tell me to have a great workout-such a welcoming atmosphere! The entire staff makes you feel like they're one big family.and it shows! The girls are beautiful, the guys are handsome, all the trainers are very approachable, the housekeeping staff is extremely friendly and the gym has enough eye-candy to make it even more fun! Seriously, I get the best workouts ever.the people, the surroundings, the cleanliness, the equipment.it just makes for a super, amazing experience every time! This gym has become my favorite LA Fitness on the planet! These people rock! I wish I could take everything and everyone with me to my next work assignment!

Not packed at 5am. Convenient location. What I don't understand is at 5am when it opens, nothing is where it belongs. Closing crew leaves weights all over the place. Adds 15-20 minutes to my workout looking for things. Which means nothing gets cleaned

One of the best gyms I have ever been to. The General Manager Daniel Ramirez is very professional and the whole team has your best interest at heart. I would recommend them to anyone. The facility is also very clean and you never have to wait for any equipment.

The holiday hours are focused on employee benefit at the inconvenience of the paying customers.

Swimming pool, sauna, and a basketball court! Best time to go is before 4pm after that you get the after work rush and waiting for a machine could be a little longer than most are use to. Gym is usually very clean! Someone is always there if you have any questions or need help.

Love this place. It has a good layout. I love the fact that it's only one story unlike other LA fitness.

Recent development with new and clean facilities. Large men's locker room w decent sized lockers and abundance of vanity and sink space. Well kept showers and bathroom facilities. Good sauna with decent heat. Nice 4-lane pool w separate spa. Wished swim classes are offered. Signed up for personal training. Tony ROCKS!

Newer facility and equipment. I've been at 5am and at 5pm when it's super busy. Even with the crowds in the afternoon, there are still enough machines to go around.

I was very disappointed to find out that they weren’t going to have any punching bags and when I asked the manager about it he rudely told me that they were not going to get any. When I switched gyms they told me that they would have punching bags. All the other la fitness have them. The only good thing about this la fitness is that Anthony is the GM and he keeps them in check. It is a very clean gym but half the parking lot is under construction and there is broken car windows every where from cars getting broken into and oh yah no cameras outside.

Clean at all times for the most part. Modern looking compared to the 290 and Hollister location. If there’s one thing I would advise is that they get more of the work out machines where they only have one of that kind.

We gave this gym a try for the summer. A few of the classes are good, but there is a high turn over in the group exercise classes offered and instructors. The “free fitness assessment” was a sales pitch for very expensive training and I learned nothing about my own fitness or the gym. AC was off for TWO DAYS and they stayed open! The childcare is really just tv time for the kids and they are not allowed anywhere in the gym (even the basketball court). Really a very expensive mistake on my part. I’ve canceled my membership and will warn others away when I have the chance.

The gym is close to work and home, but the equipment is garbage. The entire machine moves so you can't isolate muscle strengthening. Leg press only has 2 settings, and the safety lock seems to be put on backwards. I made a mistake switching to multi club. This place isn't worth it.

The staff is always friendly and all of the machines are new and work properly. The big downside is that they don't turn on the AC. It's as hot outside as it is inside. They have giant fans but they never turn them on. If the temperature was manageable this would be a 5 star gym.

My vehicle was broken into and the gym has no cameras in the parking lot. They won’t even hire a security guard to patrol the lot.

Super gym on Gessner. This gym is well equipted. Very large gym. If you want to break down the fat and build muscle, stop in

This location is the closest to my home. At the end of my workout I like to jump rope for cardio but at this location there is only one open room. The room is ALWAYS occupied by some sort LA Fitness sponsored class (literally there is a class scheduled every day this week during the hours of 5pm-8pm). I tried to jump rope in the cycling room where I was told to leave because a class was starting. This location has a section strictly dedicated for personal training sessions the in the middle of the gym. I asked an employee could I simply use a little piece of this space (the space is a little bigger than half a basketball court). Keep in mind he was only training one person at that time. He told me "We're using the entire space right now, I really don't have a solution for you". This irked me because I've seen plenty of people use the area without being accompanied by a trainer. I’m not too sure why he just didn't let me occupy a tiny space for 10 minutes. I go to the front desk to ask for a solution and I'm told to find an area in aisle and just don't hit anyone. This is sub-par solution because the gym is always packed during the week at 5pm-7pm. My biggest issue was that the employees didn’t seem to care.
