LA Fitness, Denton TX

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes I walk in and the place looks super clean and organized and other times it looks like a mess. To me the equipment seems a little dated specially since this gym is one of the more pricier gyms in town. Overall it's nothing special the only reason I keep my membership here is because they have a pool. Otherwise I would be at another gym.

We were intending to join LA Fitness and were quoted a price to pay in advance for a year so we scheduled a time to come sign up with John two days later since we couldn't come the same day. We were in constant communication with him via text and we arrive to find out what he told us was incorrect because his regional manager corrected him. It would of been nice if he had texted us to let us know that was the case versus tell us to come and waste a 45 minute drive. All he could offer was a 14 day pass or us paying full price no difference than doing monthly. We will take our business elsewhere.

I am a prime example that it is never too late to take out a gym membership. I will celebrate my 80th in 2 weeks and I joined to work on my balance, NY endurance and my weight for an upcoming trip to Great Britain. I am psyched.

I've been going to the gym for about 5 years, and would recommend it to any of my friends. I do like how this location has a sauna, a must need for me.

LA Fitness has great equipment that is well maintained. The locker rooms are always clean. There are always available cardio machines. Its everything I want in a gym.

Their child care is way too much.they might as well not have a pool because its so small and they are horible at customer service.

I honestly don't understand why la fitness has such a low rating. It's a gym, not a social club. I go to the gym to get my workout in and that's exactly what la fitness provides for me.

I've been going to work out here for years. I'm always motivated by the atmosphere to press in.

What Gage below stated. Its a gym. It provides a wide variety of equipment in excellent shape, a daycare that has been great for my kiddo. He runs out of my arms to go there when I go. A nice tempatured pool, punching bags, and the service has always been great for me.

Now that the new resolution gym hype has died down, most machines work and it's not as crowded. I love their Zumba classes.

I have been going to LA Fitness at this location for over 3 years. The only issues I have is that the trainers are constantly changing because of how poorly they are treated, and the sales and management staff is about the same. The machines and weights are usually in good shape, only issue is that when something breaks, it takes a good while to get repaired.customers are great, and it has a great selection of exercise classes and options.

Extremely unprofessional staff and Emily at the front desk in addition to other staff refused to cancel my membership tonight after the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Do NOT go here! There are much better gyms in denton and they will rip you off!

Nobody cleans equipment
Nobody cleans after they lay on the mats to stretch.
No padding on the only two stretching machines. The bak of your legs are on metal.
Resistance bands are for trainers only.
Lockerroom smells like mildew.

It's got just about everything you need for fitness and workout

Men's locker room is a little stinky but I guess that goes with the territory?

LA fitness is just a garbage company in general, but this location is at the bottom of the bin.

It's like they took a slum Lord, the worst used car salesmen, an insurance broker, mixed them together and sent them to work at la fitness.

It was crowded not that many treadmills equipment is not clean. Bathrooms are gross this place could be a lot cleaner.

Tons of broken equipment that never gets fixed. Dirty facilities. It's a gym if that is what you are looking for i guess

Good gym, great classes, like the open concept. Some of the equipment is dated, but there are lots of options and I can always get on the machines that I want. Fitness Manager Travis spent some time with me for the complimentary fitness testing and was very helpful with form and stretching techniques. Definitely recommend.

I Lost My Job For Taking Care Of My Sick Mother For 2 Whole Days. Worst Employer Ever! In Denton Anyways!
