La Frontera Catering reviews
14Not what I expected, food was ok not delicious. Service lacks attention. Ordered a margarita on the rocks but instead was served a frozen margarita. Told waitress about mistake, waitress tells me that they cannot take it back, if I want on the rocks I will be charged again. Will not return to this restaurant.
HORRIBLE experience. Waited a very long time to order and when we finally got our food, my order was wrong. Bad experience all the way around. Very expensive too. First and last time we dine at this place. I do not recommend this place AT ALL.
Service was great, however that was the only thing good about it. The food was bad, no flavor. Asked
For no beans and recieved beans all over the food. Rice was cold. Had 3 adults and a child and 1 adult had to wait for their meal extra time.
First time here I wanted to see what all the hype was about I got some raw oysters 18 dollars for 6 prepare oysters with ceviche which it only had lil peices of shrimp an the oysters were spoiled had to throw everything a way very disappointing.
I have been reserving this review for a while now. But it is time to tell you all about this phenomenal place!
First.do not come here expecting Tex-Mex. This ain't that type of place and if you want over-exaggerated Tex-Mex, Jalapeno Tree is right down the road. However, if you want to experience truly authentic Mexican food; La Frontera and their spin-off Mariscos 7 Mares.are your go-to choices. I have tried the shrimp chile rellenos, the seafood cocktails, enchiladas, menudo, and posole. Never have I been disappointed! Try it for yourself!
We love this restaurant, and the fajitas are amazing especially Molcajete my husband and I love it. There hot sauce and chips are homemade and you can tell the flavor is delicious.
We love the Street tacos, they are the best in town, homemade tortillas and you had many options to choice from. They tell me that they have $1.00 tacos Tuesdays and Wednesday’s I’m definitely will be here to enjoy some amazing tacos.
Authentic Everything!
We just love this place, the food might take a hot minute, but it's so worth it because they make it fresh to order, and I do mean fresh to order!
There are so many different things in their new menu, I couldn't decide on what to order, I finally decided on the Quesadilla appetizer, and oh my goodness! It's huge! My husband had to finish it for me, he had been craving Chilli Reanos for days, and he couldn't decide on which kind to get, they have choices, I never knew that you had choices before! Lol!
I just love our waitress, she is absolutely amazing and never forgets anything, and is so polite.
I have forgotten her name, so please forgive me.
This place is family owned and operated, and the way the food tastes, you definitely know that they take pride in what they do.
Friendly service and delicious chile relleno and chicken fajitas. Homemade tortillas. Visited mid-afternoon after the lunch hour. I would have taken a picture of the food, but we ate it all.
Just ate here and the food was great and the customer service was very good. Nice place to eat, and will be going back.
Food was fresh and tasty, the service was quick and friendly. Great place to enjoy authentic Mexican style food
Great service food is great, price is fair. Highly recommend. They are always trying to improve. And will listen to every ones request.
Not what I call authentic Mexican food. I understand that each state has different styles when it comes to cooking (I'm accustomed to Michoacan style) I had the Tostadas de ceviche. #1 there was lettuce on it️. No onion, no pepino, no jalapeno, no diced tomato, no garlic not even a lime flavor from the fish. We also had the tacos with grilled veggies and "Mexican rice". The veggies were great! But the rice was an Uncle Ben's 90 sec pack. The guy working the front and taking orders was very accommodating and quick. But the food just was not there.
I had the buffet. It was simple enough, so I was able to eat some of almost everything. From the charro beans to the fresh-made sauces to the green chile carnitas, it was all damn good; effort in every dish. What pushed me over the edge to write this review was the menudo. I have tried it over and over and this is the first time that I liked it. I actually loved it. Now I understand its medicinal properties I've always heard of! Good job guys!
