La Hacienda reviews
19I am currently sitting in the restaurant and it is amazing! I love the staff, they are so nice and the food is delicious. 10/10 would recommend!
Cold chips half broken, waiter seems to expect good tip when his compadres do most of the work.
TLDR: Service isn't usually great and entirely based on how much you spend. The condiments are given selectively and there is no hot sauce. I've gotten food poisoned here twice now.
La Hacienda is a decent place for a bite, but the quality of service has greatly diminished.
My first visit to the restaurant was quite nice. It was a cute and quaint place. My table ordered entrées and drinks individually. The server was terrific.
My visits after have been less than great. The staff only treats you well if you spend considerable amount of money. Furthermore, it seems sauces and condiments are only for select guests and either off limits or for a charge for others.
My last straw was when I came home tonight from my dinner there and, after experiencing ok service, I found myself with food poisoning. This is the 2nd time I've been food poisoned after visiting La Hacienda.
Delicious and laid back. Me and my girlfriend went there twice and will be back many more times! Also love the guy who sings!
Absolutely the best food in town and the family environment and the family treatment you get from the staff is nothing short of family love.
Such friendly staff. Tastes good and a great price. I ordered the chicken spaghetti which was quite fulfilling.
Local hangout for Mexican food. Great service and a nice variety of dishes. Good margaritas!
Don't follow through with their word. We ordered beef fajitas for 2 online. We got home with chicken fajitas. I immediately called and their staff verified that our order was prepared incorrectly. They apologized and told us that they give us a credit. Not on the credit card but allowing us to duplicate our order at a later date. Well, we tried and they acted like it never happened and declined our request. All of this for $60. They must really be short-sighted in their business philosophy.
I hadn't been here in about 10 years. I will never go back. The food is mediocre at best. I ordered mole chicken. The breast meat was very dry. I doubt it had been marinated at all. The red salsa was tasteless. The green was slightly better. I ordered a top-shelf margarita. It was watery and way too sweet. I doubt they used fresh lime juice and suspect it was a premade mix. That margarita would have been a rip-off at $10. But they charged $20!
Horrible food, horrible portions
I think I tipped more than the price of chicken given to me. Don’t waste your time.
Always fast, efficient, and great drinks. Service is always a pleasure! Many options of food! Awesome lunch specials
The food was good.the waiter was on point.filling up my drink everytime is was low and we got the food fast.i will be coming back
I used to come here fairly often for lunch, it was a passable, cheap, texmex option in the area.
Came for back for dinner recently and the area we were seated was absolutely swimming with flies. One or two isn't really that big a deal, insects get inside sometimes, but when there's this many its just unsanitary. They've got to be laying eggs/hatching somewhere in the restaurant.
Family owned business. I have been coming to this place for over 8 years
Food is great, service awesome.
First time in and I’m very pleased with the portion of the food, the taste and the pricing. I spoke with Rene at the front and he was so polite and friendly. My food was brought out to me promptly. I will definitely be back.
The food is pretty good but definitely nothing special for Tex mex in this city. Service is definitely lacking.
Nice local Mexican restaurant with a good blend of authentic dishes and TexMex. House Margarita was spot on and hit the spot. Food was great, and even their salsa options with the chips were really tasty. Will return for sure. I give this a high recommend for anyone looking for a good Mexican spot in the Energy Corridor.
This was the first experience here, I waited to be seated for a few minutes at the door, so I decided to seat myself I had walked in at 1min till 3pm and they apparently was in back so I was told its after 3pm the lunch specials are over. I stated well i waited for someone to seat me and of course its after 3pm now. The waiter says ask the manager. He gets up from his lunch with the entire restaurant and says to late its 304pm. I hope no one else gets this type of service from this place. I am industry and I would never ever responded in such a manner. I hope upper management is aware.
I’ve been to the restaurant and dined inside - it was a great experience. This 1 star is for their carry out and what was in my daughters food. I wanted to post 0 stars but can’t. They forgot to give my driver my drinks. I ordered the tacos al carbon. They place all the food together in a small aluminum bowl. The salad got the side of one of the tacos and the bottom of both tacos all soggy - these were flour tortillas. The tacos tore apart while trying to eat it - it was a big mess - I couldn’t. Plus the containers they use causes a lot of condensation. My daughter’s fries and nuggets were wet and it looked like a fried bug was in her bowl. I posted the picture below. A total waste of $40.
