La Hacienda Ranch reviews
17 Mesquite-grilled fajitas are #1 in Dallas!
Apple pie w/ bourbon sauce sizzling and turning to caramel!
Can't beat it. Game over, go home
Would definitely give this place 5 stars easily if the guy behind the bar didn't try to convince me this SINGLE serving was for two people
The food is absolutely delicious though.
My family and I go here every year for father's day and the fajitas here are so good every single time. I have tried a lot of fajitas, but this place is my favorite by far. The steak is literally so good and we usually order fajitas for 2 and fajitas for 1 for all four of us. We also get tableside guacamole. Perfect amount of food.
AMAZING TexMex, best in the area. Our server was very attentive and friendly and never let our drinks run low. Really no complaints at all.
Great Tex-Mex with a touch of southwest influence. Steaks are great as well as the chimichangas.
The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was great even with the restaurant being packed. I tried the Fire & Ice, Mariano, and Ranch Water, and I'd recommend any of them. The enchiladas were perfectly made! La Hacienda Ranch is perfect for large groups and the service was wonderful for our party of 11!
Love La Hacienda Ranch. We've been going here for many years and the food is consistently good. The chips and salsa are excellent and a great Texas western flair. Check them out but expect a wait if during peak eating times.
Salsa's were really good and tasted fresh, i ordered chicken fajita, and it was average, and chicken was grilled to rare, which I should have instructed to well done. The Mariano margaritas were awesome
We really like this restaurant. It can get crowded and noisy in the evening. We don’t like crowds or noise. We just try to get there before 5 and that works for us.
We’ve been wanting to try this place and have been looking for a really good Mexican restaurant and this fit the bill! Great atmosphere (and not freezing like many places are in the summer). Cozy booths and tables yet plenty of room. Service was GREAT! Nick took care of us and was thorough in answering all our questions and had great knowledge of both the drink and food menu. We were offered two kinds of salsa: warm, spicy one and a cold one that wasn’t as spicy but great flavor. Then Nick suggested a few Margaritas: hubby tried The Mariano which is described as “Potent but Polite” and it was quite tasty. I had “Papa’s” which was labeled as a bit sweeter and it was delicious! Not too sweet…perfect balance. He talked up The Original Frozen we had to get that for dessert! I’m not a frozen margarita fan but I would get this again in a heartbeat! I tried Mariano’s Favorite for my entree and it was delicious! The beef was tender and full of flavor. And the beans and rice reminded us of our favorites from AZ…yum! Hubby had Burrito de Gonzalez but made substitutions per Nick’s suggestion: substituting fajita beef for ground beef and put half chili half queso on top - he loved it! Huge portions-we both had leftovers to take home and we even got containers for the salsa. My list is long for other things to try so we will be back!
Would have loved to try the food here unfortunately. Arrived with my family around 5pm today. Was told a 20 minute wait. 5: 45pm no text, I went back to the host area and asked for an update. Was told there’s 6 more groups ahead because they now need to sit reservations. Asked for a realistic timeline and was told at minimum another 20 mins. I had a 7pm commitment so I was not willing to wait at minimum an hour for a table.
I wish I would have been told a realistic expectation from the beginning. I would have either adjusted my other plans or selected a restaurant that could accommodate. Seems like this would have been a good place to eat, but started off on the wrong foot.
One of my favorite Mexican spots. We had margaritas, chips, salsa, and queso; combo fajitas, and the Mariano’s favorite entrees. Food is well seasoned. Drinks were well made, and our server was really great — he even gave us a quarter so our son could ride the mechanical horse outside. We’ll be back!
Great service. Food was a little pricey for what it was, but still very good. Would definitely go back.
Moving to McKinney, Allan & I searched for new fav restaurants of Tex-Mex; Italian; Pizza; Mediterranean; Burgers; Fish; and breakfast. We visited an old Fav today - LA Hacienda in Frisco on Preston Road (just one minute north of StoneBriar Mall). We loved this restaurant so much and were reminded WHY! The food is outstanding! I'm Hispanic, so I recognize excellent Tex-Mex.
The service is fantastic.
The refried beans are perfection.
The rice is perfection.
The cheese enchiladas with chili con carne are perfection.
The light toasty corn chips are perfection.
The Mariano Queso is perfection.
The salsas are perfection.
The Sundance sauce is perfection.
The homemade corn tortillas are huge, soft, hot, and absolutely perfection.
The hot apple pie with a sizzling, fragrant hot sauce is perfection.
(1/2 price on Sunday)
Can you smell it?
After our perfect meal today, we will always drive 15 minutes West to Frisco, straight up Stacey Rd, south on Preston, to La Ha!
You can't beat perfection!
LaHa is perfection!
Our waiter Darrell was really exceptional and the food was great only downside was they are using salt and pepper packets
Never disappoints! We love La Ha. Best fajitas and margaritas in town. We recommend the VIP Platter (not on the menu) and the Mariano’s Favorite.
First time here even though I drive by every day, the fajitas were so good and the apple pie with the buttery sauce.delicious!
