La Mexicana Supermercado Chaparo reviews
13Good selection but not anything fresh.horrible smell upon walking in. Bought 10lbs of potatoes and they were all green.if you didn't know. Green potatoes are poisonous and can make you extremely I'll.fruits are a 50/50 usually bruised or moldy. I won't shop hear for any produce.
This store is out of there mind they want to charge 20 for 8 tamales which I don't mind paying but then they wanna charge for salsa! Anywhere else that you buy food salsa comes with it rite! Penny pinching at its finest. The fact that the employee needed to get the manager for some cups of salsa is ridiculous. Employees are so lazy!
Eat selection could be better quality wise.it's a "fresh frozen meat market" so not super great.but the rest of the store is wonderful quality goods and the people who work here r very kind.
Tacos are so good, but lady making the tacos is so rude, she will make friends and family's order first, and don't care about who order first, she have and attitude, and even told me she can make whomever she wants so I don't trust her with my food, good thing I got my money back
The prepared food is good, but almost every time I go in they try to over charge me on the meat or groceries by either printing out a label for a more expensive meat by pound or ringing things up twice at the register. I though it was just by accident but it’s been 3 years now of the same “accidents”. It’s just Awkward.
Came in for a menudo and left with nothing because the server was coughing while preparing the food and didn't bother to cover her mouth while facing the food.
I'm standing and line and they have skipped me twice now having still not started cooking my food.
The food workers pretend not to know English if you’re white, apparently they don’t know what chicken taco is.
Convenient but that’s about it. Expensive, and meat market has no pride in their work at all. Several times the fajita is barely cut and takes preparation at home before it can be cooked. I know the owners of this place are actually the same one who own the Texaco too, so don’t think this place is authentic about Mexican cuisine more about turning profit.
I ordered food from here and I got the Chile relleno and when I bit into it, it was hard and frozen. I watched them make it again and they do not make it fresh. They already have it frozen and it deep fry it.
Very very expensive. Was not expecting to go into the store for less than 10 items and walk out with 2 bags, basic items after spending $49. Customer Service was fantastic, won't return to shop tho.
Each time I visit this store, it impresses me. It has such a wonderful selection of products and all are reasonably priced. The staff is amazing as well.
The meat market employees are rude. They attend to the other Hispanic buddies and give them baskets of meats. And the butcher even walked their baskets of meat to their car. There was not any exchange of money for their meat in the baskets. The Hispanic men told me in Spanish some male chauvinist remarks when I asked if they could help the other 20 people waiting in line. His remarks were to the effect that II deserve to be set in my place by a man. I will never purchased anything from this stores again. I do not recommend this store to anyone.
