La Michoacana Meat Market reviews
9Good completw supermarket with many Mexican options. Has lots of vegetables, beans and rice too.
Guys, really UNBELIEVABLE. It remind me of my time living in Puebla where I grew up.
To those who don't know me, I was born in Spain but grew up in Mexico, in a city called Puebla and just when I enter this Meat Market, taqueria and etcetera, I almost cry of a lot of feelings coming back to my mind.
I enter with the idea of investigating that taqueria that was announced at the entrance.
Guys, believe me, REAL MEXICAN TACOS like the ones you can eat in any place down in Mexico city.
I ask for 3 different kinds to taste, I could not eat them all, they are big tacos, but I could taste the Carnitas, the Pastor and the Bistec ones. I can not tell you which were better of all of them. And the lady was so kind to put me a bit of frijoles refritos behind also to taste.
And together with my Coke it was less than 10$!
FORGET about all those fancy places downtown which say that are Mexican style or similar, come and taste real Mexican food here.
Besides, there is a WONDERFUL Mexican supermarket with a bunch of Mexican products there to buy.
Just you need to give this place the chance or even take it away and eat it at home!
I really enjoy their meat selection and can sometimes find some really great pricing.
Their brand of salsas (in the cooler near the registers) are all really good!
Smaller that other michoacana markets but same ol good prices. Valentina hot salsa$ 89 cents
Everything it's ok, except the chicken bucket. I bought one today, and the chicken was dry and very salty oh.and the lady that served me, only gave me half of each side (rice and beans) not happy at all, will never buy one again.
I really enjoy grocery shopping here. Everyone is friendly and best of all their pastries are always fresh. I had their Menudo for the first time and it was amazing. It reminded me of back home in El Paso.
Bought lemon pepper chicken and goat. When I got home smelt it, I was left wondering. The chicken smelt so bad n I thought it was the spices. After cooking I took a bite and I could tell the chicken wasn't good and the goat is sooo hard. Never in my life seen goat meat hard like beef. I went to this place for the first time because I didn't want to go to the Indian store today for goat. I'm disabled
Authentic Mexican Meat Market, if you want ready to cook marinated fajita meat this is the place to get it.
