La Michoacana Meat Market reviews
15I’m giving 4 stars because the food I ordered was fresh and tasty. Not really sure what it is called but I enjoyed it. The prices are a little high. I do recommend this place.
When ordering the cooked fajitas with mix veggies they put too much veggies and charge you the weight of the meat which is a total rip off. Just wish they could just sell you the cooked meat without the veggies mixed into it that way you're truly paying for the meat.
Didn’t feel welcome at this location
Food was alright nothing to brag about but they make you extra just for cheese, onions & cilantro.
The servers were a lil rude
Definitely won’t be back.
The food is delicious I've been going to get barbacoa from them as well as there steak but the service is very rarely not bad the drive thru is that bad as far as service wise but definitely takes a minute but inside is a different ball game you better have your ticket and once there on to the next person you basically are in line again (asked for green and red salsa, they responded it's in the bag checked and it was only one kind) so I had to wait until they finished both people behind me for salsa and that's just my most recent experience but once again THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS
All the marinated meats and Hispanic snacks you need are right here! Love the ceviche from here as well
It's conveniently open and believe me I appreciate that. I hope they're making time and a half. Everything is stocked and organized. There's a variety, considering that it's not a huge huge location, but even their ready to order food look delicious like I said definitely convenient and it beats being in a line at HEB, I think next year I'll just come here the day of and get all my stuff!
The service in the kitchen is terrible, the typhis are crazy, they don't serve, I won't be back, I invite people not to go to this place.
I give them a 4 only because their Barbacoa is sooo good, but the customer service is not that good at the food line, and the owners must be so cheap because the salsas are limited in small containers. They charge for tortillas for salsas and anything they can think of. I bought some barbacoa and they didn’t want to give me the salsas. A customer in front of me was arguing with them about the same reason, the food line service being sooo cheap. Overall clean and the barbacoa is always amazing but the pupusa was not good.
Not sure I want to buy from here anymore.
Lacks a lot of essential stuff.
The food court is a disappointment.
I HOPE THIS MESSAGE IS READ BY THE OWNER OR MANAGER, THE STORE IN ITS MERCHANDISE BOTH BAKERY, FOOD AND BUTCHER I HAVE NO OBJECTION BECAUSE I BUY EVERYTHING, WHAT SEEMS DEPRORABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE TO ME ARE ITS EMPLOYEES, BUTCHER WITH A BITTER FACE TO ME A GUY ATTENDED THAT MADE ME WANT TO TELL HIM, I TAKE CARE OF MYSELF, I GO TO THE FOOD AND FRESH WATERS PART AND PEOPLE IGNORE YOU, THEY CROSSED, THEY WENT THEM UNTIL I ASK WHO ATTENDED, A LADY WAS ALREADY WAITING FOR THIS, AFTER THIS LEAVES A MAN TO ATTEND TELLING ME I HAVE TO PAY FIRST AND THEN COME TO ORDER, MEANS THE WAITING TIME TO ATTEND ME, I TURNED AROUND AND ONLY ONE CASHIER WITH A LONG LINE, FOR THIS SATURDAY WAS VERY BUSY IN THAT STORE, NOBODY WAS KIND AND EVEN SO I, WITH ALL MY EDUCATION, TELL THEM A GOOD WEEKEND AND SAY GOODBYE, GIVING THANKS, EVEN THOUGH YOU SAY, THANK YOU, THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE WORKING AT CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THAT FACE LIKE THAT THEY HAVE STRENGTH, AS A MANAGER I CALL A MEETING AND FORCE MY EMPLOYEES TO ATTEND WITH KINDNESS THAT ANNEXED WITH ITS FRESH AND QUALITY PRODUCTS, THAT STORE WOULD BE A SUCCESS.
Out OF ALL the Michoacanas I have been to in these past 20yrs in Houston (all over Houston) this one has the best prepared food. The food is flavorful, the meat is tender and their portions are plentiful… YUM! The employees were nice & courteous. The place is nice and clean and well stocked. You get more food for your money. Happy shopping y Buen provecho!
This meat market sells meat that has a wired taste and smell when cooking! This isn’t the first time I’ve experience this from this location. I’ve spoken to the manager at one time but as the looks of things it hasn’t changed. Poor quality meat market. Too bad it’s on the Westheimer strip. The one on Bellaire is way better!
Any market that needs THIS much security - as in guards eyeballing each and every customer that walks in like they are al-Qaeda - is going to make a lot of people not want to come and spend money, and therefore no good.
Customer service is amazing. A little girl dropped her coke, and the staff rushed and took care of the situation and gave her another coke. To show there are still great employees and managers to serve us here at La Michoacana. Thank you.
The drive thru service is good
Only place I go. Seems like management is there and cares about the franchise. Secret menudo is good!
