Use to live here. Management sucks. They are rude and will drag their feet on any maintenance request. Wouldn’t live here if you can help it.

RENTERS BEWARE! Think twice before moving here and make sure to physically see the unit you’ll be moving into! I made the mistake of taking a tour of a unit that I wouldn’t be getting only because the unit I wanted wasn’t going to be ready until 12/15. I was told MULTIPLE times that the unit that I wanted was going to be on the first floor, which was a must for me. My boyfriend and I had called on multiple different occasions before and after applying to confirm that the unit we were applying for would be in the first floor. The office staff confirmed on all occasions that it was a first floor unit. Everything thing was fine until move in day! When we were handed the keys we went to the unit and it was the second floor. Annoyed, it wasn’t a huge deal, but once we entered the unit I was disgusted. Huge stain on the carpet, bleach stains, burn marks on the countertop, food/seasoning in the cabinets, ROACH FECES on the outlet, blood splatters on the cabinets in the bathroom, hairs in the sink, and nastiest of all was live ROACHES in the kitchen sink. I called the office and asked why I was given a unit on the second floor when I was promised a first floor, and was told by the property manager that all units ending in even numbers are second floor units. I would assume that the employees that work there would’ve been able to confirm that, but I guess it’s up to the future resident to know what units are 1st and 2nd floors. I also addressed the dirty apartment we were given and she assured me that the unit was not dirty and had been professionally cleaned. After expressing my disgust all I was offered was for the carpets to be replaced or they could put me in a more expensive unit actually on the first floor for $1500. Unfortunately that unit was almost as bad. Water damage under the sinks and roach fences on outlets and roaches in the bathroom and bedroom closet. Asked for my money and never looked back. For the prices of these apartments, they really need to prioritize cleaning and replacing necessary items like water damaged cabinets and stained carpets.

Although maintenance was the best, and very quick to answer requests, management charged 1275 to replace one corner of damaged carpet after an 900 dollar deposit to move out. The area around the apartment was nice, sadly will not be coming back again.

Ashton and Heather are awesome each time I called courteous a d pleasant. No question was dumb to them. I am truly thankful that I met them.

Update: well when I moved here I was promised hard flooring due to being a paraplegic in a wheelchair. I asked on 02/04/2023 for guard rails for the bathroom for safety. I asked again in August both times no response. I could never get video tour of the apartments. After moving in we found out no hard wood floors carpet. The ac area had a hole to the outside which allowed bugs and ants to come in. I complained after the first incident in February until September when I had to leave my lease they finally put concrete in the hole. For 6 months I was without a working toilet that my wheelchair could get too. The master bathroom was too small for me and my wheelchair and was never used. I had to beg for a toilet to use, that they had in the workshop but were to busy to put in. They have trash pick up outside your apartment being a paraplegic I thought this was great but they never picked up. Talked to office which gave me a number to a Bruce guy who was rude and didn't care. I asked the office to take the service off since I was lugging my to the dumpster. Was told no and was not credited for the trash service. What cause me to leave was the apartment the lack safety for me in my own home. The grab rails are life savers, whether I have to pay to Install or the maintenance Install I needed permission but it never got it. I ended up falling and need to have surgery on my neck. I slipped and fell getting out of the tub and hit the tub so hard that it cracked. Sept 29th I left by plane to go have my surgery by the doctor who did my original surgery because I trust him. Sad thing I'm still being charged for trash service and other stuff even tho I'm not there. PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU RENT HERE!

Ashton was probably one of the worst people to go talk to. Super rude and always in a bad mood. Seemed like he would always try to belittle you and try to make it seem like he was always above you. Everything you said he would blow off his shoulder and demand things.

I really was excited to move here because a friend recommended this place but I’ve never been so poorly treated. I had a horrible situation where I got my door broken down & it was so embarrassing to have to walk into the office to explain my situation because of an ex that was violent. Letty was very kind and understanding of my situation and I ended up have to pay $400 to replace the door but it took over a month and a half to get my door & now that I have it, it doesn’t close properly, the paint is really badly painted, and there is no dead bolt yet which is really important to be given my situation. I walked into the office to get an update and the maintenance worker told me well this situation is because of you because the door wasn’t like that before when you moved in…… I cannot believe how insensitive that comment was. I am paying $400 for that door to just be normal the same way it was before and you’re going to tell me basically to kick rocks & be grateful? I know damn well of your daughter was in a similar situation you wouldn’t be so insensitive. I am beyond disappointed in this apartment complex. I can’t even talk to Ashton because of the disrespect he has shown be as well but I’ve kept it all in trying to keep the peace but I’m going leave this review because I’ve had enough. Once my lease ends I am out of here.

I was visiting some friend’s in San Antonio and decided to move there. I called La Mirage leasing office and was greeted by Ashton whom courteously and professionally guided me through the whole process. His service was outstanding and he made sure all of my questions were answered. Haven’t been here long but the apartment is nice and I’ve had no complaints so far.

I choose this apartment because my friend is living here for about 4 years and it is close to medical center. The leasing office staffs were very helpful during the application process. Even though there was a oversight in my application process, Ashton was able to quickly fix it. So far, I found the staff very helpful.

I will update the review about apartment and overall community after I move to this apartment.

If you're looking to moving to SA, AVOID THESE APTS! Too expensive with too many problems. HORRIBLE management and staff.

Ashton and Heather in the office are always very helpful and kind. The maintenance guys are always quick to respond and I always see them working. I love the trees around the complex too, it makes it feel like home.

I have lived here for just about three years. I don't care what anybody else says. When I have needed something repaired. It was fixed immediately. I wanted to recognize Randall of the the maintenance crew. This man knows his job. Always professional, courteous. We need more people like him. And the staff has always been professional and respectful. I love it here. Check out this community!
