La Montanita, San Antonio TX

My husband and I visited this restaurant on Tuesday (01/24/23). We liked the atmosphere, service and of course the food. We'll be going back!

The women that work here are all so rude. Idk if that's a requirement to work at this place but ugh.

If you are ever near Rigsby Rd you need to check out this little gem of a Tex-Mex restaurant. The waitresses are friendly, your order is brought to you hot and short wait time. But the food they nailed it! I have to admit this is my first ever favorite Tex-Mex Restaurant. Those who follow the San Antonio Kitchen scores from the Health Department. 100/A.look it up check out they proudly display it in their restaurant. 5 stars to the Owner and Staff!

Ordered breakfast tacos to go. Staff comes off as rude. Tacos were mediocre and tortillas tastes like walmart tortillas.

Absolutely delicious and the waitress was very attentive the homemade tortillas were absolutely delicious we will definitely come back

Its a ok taco place but there bean and cheese are like bland i think its just cause the beans are bland no flavor i mean there barbaqua and there potato and egg.are good just there bean and cheese taste like there bland.

I ordered on DoordDash and I'm really disappointed given this restaurant has a 4.9 rating on the delivery app. I ordered a steak and eggs plate and wanted the steak a la mexicana, but instead they made the eggs a la mexicana which is really gross to me. I threw the eggs in the trash because there's no way I'm eating them that way. So I made my own eggs to go with the rest of it, but the potatoes and beans are so bland that I'm not sure I should have even bothered. I haven't tried the tacos I ordered but so far the only good thing has been the queso. What a waste of $30 ‍️

Always good authentic Mexican food and always good service. Must try gorditas some of the best in San Antonio

Amazing food with a friendly staff, it's no wonder this place gets busy on most days since the food is always good and more affordable then most other places. Would highly recommend

First time coming here. My mother in law told me to try it out. And it is the best place to eat. Tacos were hot and delicious.

Been here before. These Restaurant never disappoints always Delicious. This time I ate Huevo aLa Mexican plate, was delicious really loved their Green Salsa mmmm Good. Reasonable prices I will come again

It was my first and my last time at La Montanita, I was greatly disappointed at the prices and quality of their products. The tortillas were small and tasted store brought, no way they were in-house made. The Carne guisada meat was tough and lacked any favor. The owner needs to make changes soon or this business won't survive

Not enough parking. Tried to call in order but no answer. Kept trying but no answer, had to go in to order and wait. Not going there again. Food was okay.
