La Player Soccer League, Houston TX

We had a wonderful time at la player the best soccer league in Houston. Roberto the owner very nice human being thank you to la player staff.you guys are the best.

The facility itself is mediocre. Pro's are they have restrooms; sell food and bevarages (you're allowed to bring in your own also) ; lighting is ok (could be better) ; parking attendant ($5 to get in). Cons fields are terrible (although grass is well-maintained, it's bumpy as hell and players have to struggle) ; more parking space is needed; little to no spectator seating (this surprises me because the level of play is two steps above recreational play and there is ample interest in the games) ; this is mostly Hispanic players and you will see the passion in both the fans and players (sometimes to a fault with the occasional on-field scuffle and vulgarity from the sidelines) ; they do not have a playground for the kids which is disappointing; players do not respect the referee's authority (this really should be addressed w/the owners, league administrators). Otherwise, if you want to watch how the game should be played and want to learn something, this is it.
