La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Antonio I-35 N at Toepperwein

For the price it was not too bad, but they should take more time to clean up the rooms! Especially the family suite, we had kids and we had to clean up first.
The room service people were great though, coming by each evening to grab out trash and dirty towels and give out clean towels, trash bags, and soaps.

This is a wonderful place to stay.
The Staff is Amazing
The coffee machine is Awesome
The Beds always smell clean
And bleached. They will do what they can to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Thank you So much La Quinta off Topperwine. I will continue to stay there and recommend it to People.
They have a good Waffles breakfast with Continental items as well.

Please please please DO NOT STAY HERE, worse experience ever staying at a hotel, this is not the fault of the staff, my biggest issue is roaches, you can't even sleep in peace, 1 or 2 might be normal but talking about over 20 that I saw, and they fly so I guess they hardly maintain them. First night here and our truck was forced entry and they stole some items and cash that was in there, if you stay take everything with you to the room. I constantly saw housekeeping mopping a cleaning rooms so this is beyond the staff.

Floor very, very dirty, my granddaughter took her shoes off and her feet were black with dirt from the dirty floor and that was just in couple minutes we were there, it looks like they did a very poor job remodeling this room, paint overspray everywhere, they did not refinish the bath tub and it looks old and dirty, the headboard is dirty, the hispanic guy attending the breakfast buffet, was starring at people looking like he was going to pay for the food people were grabbing.

We only stayed one night then switched hotels because the room was filthy dirty! The tile floor looked like it had not been swept or mopped in months. My feet were black on the bottom from walking on it. The bathtub was also very dirty. It had a moldy, rusty stain in the corner and it had a dirt ring around the inside of the tub. A good scrubbing could have cleaned it. At least the bed was clean and comfortable. The hotel was not in the best part of town either. Lots of people hanging around the parking lot. The front desk was courteous and gladly refunded our money after I showed them the pictures of how dirty the room was. I would not recommend staying there!

I actually chose the incorrect location and not boy I pay for my mistake. Smoke smell was really bad. No carpet. One horrible looking chair. Pool was very murky. AC in the room was not cold at all I woud have expected so much more from this company. The room rate should have been $50 instead of $124.00 because that's the way it looked and felt. I wonder was this property recently converted from OYO or Motel 6 or something

Ordered a king and walked into a two double bed no big deal until we get inside and just bugs, so so many bugs, roaches crawling on the wall, bed bugs disgusting! The bathroom was so gross floor looked un-mopped for months. Just save yourself the trouble this place made me sick

The hotel itself was filthy, many permanent residents, for a Wyndham property this place was absolutely disgusting. The room smelled terrible. I had 2 night stay but checked out a day early. The staff was dress very poorly and not friendly at all.

Dirty and outdated! Don't stay here! Gap under the door where you can see outside, hairs in bed, had a roach in the bathroom, ceiling peeling off, dripping stains on the walls. And the breakfast was a joke, no protein at all!

We had originally booked this hotel for 2 nights. But only stayed 1 because we had no choice the kids were sleepy. As soon as we walked in the rooms it was disgusting. The sheets were dirty, the rooms smelled horrible and the floors were dirty. There was pee on the floor by the toilet. We had to stay because it was 2am. We ended up having to switch rooms at 3: 30am because the A/C was not working. When we woke up there was bed bugs on the bed my mom has bites all over her. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. ITS DISGUSTING.

We had some of our belongings go missing! We looked everywhere for them and could not find them! First we noticed one piece of clothing was missing. Then we lost a couple more items when we stayed at this hotel.
After checking out, I called back to speak with the property manager and was told he was not there on two separate occasions that I called. I called back a third time and the person I talked to was to leave a message for the property manager to call me back. I did not ever hear back from the property manager. I did receive a call back from the front desk manager so I proceeded to let her know what we were missing. She didn’t even offer to pay for the items that were stolen or anything else! All she said was that she would be calling me back. That never happened! I never heard from the property manager either!
Never have we ever stayed at a La Quinta and had our belongings stolen from our room! I intend to contact corporate and let them know about my experience at this hotel!

The good: quiet. Rooms are well built and quiet.
The Bad: Very dirty. We had to wear shoes because our bare feet were getting filthy. Pillows and mattress were stained. AC couldn't get the room under 75. Even after maintenance guy reset it. Finally, saw a cockroach.

I expected better from La Quinta. I really did. But after checking in here, I can see why it has such a low rating. Is this really a hotel, or Section 8 apartments? IF you're just passing through for one night, ask to see the room, before checking in and paying your money.

The towels were dirty. The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a supposed to be a non-smoking room. A plus side is that it's close to the interstate and good places to eat.

DIRTY ROOM, the room was disgusting, I stayed there room 331, too many cockroaches everywhere, AND I mean BIG cockroaches and small ones, there were spider webs in the corners, the water in the toilet spilling all the time, the light in the vanity didn’t work, I mentioned all this the the reception, she didn’t care at all,

I hate giving negative ratings but beware to all. The room was crawling with cockroaches, and we couldn't get anything extra from the hotel staff. They have more permanent residents there that have dogs that bark all night. Very seedy, and unclean.
