La REYNA BAKERY, El Paso TX

Saturday morning, I've just returned home after being gone for work and felt like having some menudo. My wife suggested this place which is just around the corner from us so I went. There where a few people ahead of me and I didn't mind because the smell of fresh bread and pastries is so invigorating. So I placed my order for my menudo to go and 6 extra bolillos. Oh the bread had just finished being baked and it was delicious. I couldn't help myself to a lil piece in the car. Get home and both my wife and I enjoyed our yummy menudo and freshly baked bread and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious authentic Mexican sweet bread and food.

Awesome bakery. Great bread rolls, amazing pastries and cake plus good mendoza and tamales. Very friendly staff and well kept cleanliness of the bakery.

They tried charging me $75 for a small cake for 4 people that had one of the most basic designs and they were being sarcastic as if I can’t afford it but I told them that it’s just ridiculous to charge that much for a small cake

The menudo was pretty good. But omg the red tamales were couldn’t even give them away. The lady was kind of rude but I guess that’s what happens when you get there 15 min before closing. I’m not one for throwing food away so I’ll freeze them then use them for door stoppers.

No well care of the sanitary environment!

Horrible horrible XV cake was dry and very stale gave it a 1 star cause there isn’t anything lower. Money wasted on cake that was not even edible.

Awesome friendly and inexpensive bakery that offers more than just delicious pastries. Love their cheese bread when they make it. Great place that rarely has lines to deal with like other places but you get the same or a better experience.

Dry and missing lots of flavor. What a shame… we were really craving a delicious pastry. First and last time. Will stick to the usuals:)

You've got to try their bread, it's one of the best ones I've tried so far.

Their is always fresh and delicious. Menudo is clean (Mexican mom's will understand) and flavorful. I highly recommend. You'll see me there on the weekends!

Very good food and bread. Friendly and good customer service. Tortillas almost like home made. Recommend.

I wouldn't bother coming here again. We've been here twice now and were told only the second time they charge $1.75 to pay with card. 1) That is stupid during Covid where cash transactions should be discouraged. 2) This is usually against ToS with their credit card processor. 3) Do this all the time and you will lose customers like me when there are plenty of other bakeries nearby with similar or better quality pastries.

Great little neighborhood bakery. Very friendly, variety of delicious breads and other baked treats. Tamales, burritos are right on! Weekend menudo is so good.
