La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries reviews
6 Great selections for recliners! The sales staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and don't pressure you like some furniture sales personnel. I highly recommend.
UPDATE: Our recliner was delivered on Tuesday, 8/1/23. Terrible experience! The delivery was sub-contracted, not La-Z-Boy employees. The men were extremely unprofessional. They were rushing, in and out in literally five minutes. They never introduced themselves, had no paperwork, or anything that could identify them as being associated with La-Z-Boy. Too many negative things happened to list. If you have any other way to pick up your furniture, DO NOT pay $99.00 to have it delivered. Not worth it!
Purchased a power recliner 12/31/22 ($3,500), received it 4/11/23. (Return date if we didn't like it was 1/2/23). Problem - when you sit in this chair you almost slide out of it before you can get the power to operate so you end up sitting on your lower back. We returned to the store 4/13/23 to sit in the storeroom chair - it's very comfortable & no sliding down. Manager told us you just need to sit in it. A couple of weeks later called manager and he said call customer service. After several contracts with customer service they replaced the seat cushion with a softer seat. They didn't address the issue of sliding out of it. Customer service says - tough we don't care if it's comfortable or not. You bought it. We didn't have to replace the seat so that's all we're going to do. Talked with customer service manager and was told the same thing. I'm very disappointed because we have been buying lazyboy furniture for 45 years. Both children have our old lazyboy furniture and it still looks and sits great.
Great store, nice and friendly sales staff. So many choices of great furniture, and fabrics. Thanks to Mike our salesman!
You pay for what you get applies here. It's not cheap. It's definitely worth it. You pick colors, patterns and height adjustments. Manual or electric. Takes about 8 weeks because the build it to your specs. Mom will love it. Great experience. Great service.
Very nice selection but a little on the expensive side. Also the warranty is not what it used to be. The employees are exceptional and extremely helpful.
DECEPTION & FALSE STATEMENTS. The salesperson told us all their couches were made of "solid wood" and that they could all "withstand a 300 lb prop on the couch. " Within a year the couch was falling apart and when we delivered it back to the warehouse (b/c it was still under warranty) a worker there flipped the couch over and we noticed the entire couch is made from particle board (NOT solid wood). Even though they sold us this couch under false pretenses - the store claimed they "can't" provide a refund but that the warehouse could.the warehouse said they can't the store has to. Corporate never responded. I'll never step foot in a La-Z-Boy again. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.
