Medical Laboratory Labcorp reviews
18Had a horrible experience. Won't recommend this place at all. They don't respect appointment time. My husband and I both had our appointments but they were letting some walk-ins while we had to wait for 30 mins way past our appointment time. Rude and unprofessional people. We left without getting our blood work done as we couldn't wait any longer. The staff at the desk actually told me that they don't care about appointments, it's first come first serve. So don't bother booking an appointment here.
Google says they're open on Saturday at 730am but when you call them, their phone message says they're open on Saturday at 8am. So I drive over, arrive early and their sign on the door says they're closed on Saturdays. Get it together guys. You're wasting my time.
One last thing, why even bother saying no drug screening on Saturday when your sign says closed on Saturdays smh
Love the atmosphere he’s very entertaining and understanding because I arrived early under the circumstances I didn’t know drug screening start at 1pm I had a great time thanks so much lapcorp for getting me in and out quickly
What time do you all close for lunch sign on door Says 1130 to 1230. Online says 1pm? I got here at 1130 they were closed came back at 1230 still closed still waiting and it's 1250 no one has opened the door yet. Hour and a half lunch must be nice.
Operating hours need to be updated. I stopped by at 4 they were closed. Website says 430 and Google says open until 12am. What time do yall close?
The phlebotomist is very kind and good at his job. I made an appointment online and got right it
2 IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW TO HAVE A SMOOTH AND QUICK EXPERIENCE: 1) Make an appointment on their website! I was seen in 10 minutes only because I had an appointment. Walk-ins had been waiting more than an hour. And 2) Make sure the technician knows you have an appointment! After I auto-checked in,
I waited about 5 minutes and then decided to make sure he knew I had an appointment. He verified it and I was the next person seen! The technician is the only person there, but he’s very kind, soft-spoken and calming.
Before you come to this location (711 W 38th St B2, ATX) you need to recognize the process is VERY VERY slow. There is only ONE phlebotomist at this location; however, the guy here is VERY VERY thorough. And that is exactly what you want in a phlebotomist. He reads the orders, he takes his time making sure he is doing what he is supposed to do. He even found errors on one of my lab orders and corrected it. I get blood work done fairly frequently. I have had Quest do my blood work. Got in and out. They lost my blood work and a fecal sample. Switched to Clinical Pathology, got in and out. They lost my sample TWICE, called me in for a "recollection" and they lost the recollected sample. As long as I live in Austin, I will use this Labcorp at this specific location; however, if you are in a hurry don't come here and definately don't come with an attitude. There is only one guy in the back and he is really really good.
Completely incompetent staff - our doctor has sent us requisition forms twice for STAT/same day lab results, and both times the staff did not follow the req form. The second time they actually sent the lab to another lab in a different state so the results wouldn't get back for multiple days. Our doctor even called this operation incompetent.
If your labwork or following instructions are remotely important to you, go somewhere else.
Very dated fertility, i waited for more than an hour for my appointment, which was very disappointing
Worst scheduling process and no one picks up the phone. Inconsistent times. Fast process after arrival
Made an appointment, was seen and out of there in like 10mins. There is only one person working, so be patient and kind. There isn’t AC so I would avoid during the summers if it were me.
There is inconsistency with the hours and opening of this location. I came Saturday to have a specimen completed and they were closed while previously being open on saturdays. I went to two other locations on Saturday that were listed as being open and both were closed. I came first thing Monday morning to this location and they should be open, however, me and a dozen people are waiting in the parking lot because it's not open as stated.
Don’t count on an appointment being honored here. Have had 3 separate appointments (pre- and post- Labcorp management). Experienced about an hour wait each time. Super in-ideal for working parents with a toddler.
Having blood drawn is no fun, especially when it's your first time, but I had a great experience here! The technician, Hunter, was kind & helpful, and he made the experience as painless as possible. Plus, making an appointment & checking in were a breeze.
Sitting here in front. It's 8: 15 and they are still closed. Sign sets open hours at 8am.
The staff was so stupid.
Very awful and inconvenient place to do the lab.
I suggest you go other places.
Patsy was kind and professional. She made me feel comfortable and was extremely efficient. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes!
Very easy process. Just make sure to make an appointment so that there isn't a longer wait. The lab technician was very friendly and helpful especially since he was the only one working there.
