Medical Laboratory LabCorp reviews
15Horrible customer service. For one the lady named Stephanie greets you after trying to log in to the kiosk she yells what u need help with l an I’m like ughh ok so I said I’m here for bloodwork than she says oh u have to sign in on the kiosk with ur ID an insurance card. So I reply ok I don’t have an insurance card they should have it already in the system the last week when I was at a lab Corp because the Medicaid gave me a print out of it until I receive the actual card in the mail.so she yells as if I can’t hear her all lab Corps are not affiliated. Ok that’s not gonna work an I walked right out. Very rude an ghetto. I have used the quest across the hall an they are not unprofessional an ghetto like that an speak in a certain tone. So that’s why this location has very poor reviews just very unprofessional.
Nurses there extremely rude. Doctor sent over report and patient went to get bloodwork done. Patient was turned away because of 2nd last name when he was in fact the patient and wasnt his 1st time there. Patient was told " Go somewhere else where they speak spanish" i dont think that was appropriate. Beware I wouldnt recommend this place. It was always the same person who was giving the same issues every time he went to have bloodwork done. Nurse also did not allow him to call doctor. We will be going to quest diagnostics instead.
Loved my super-fast, extremely efficient experience at LabCorp at this location. It's not exactly a calm drive getting there, as there is some hectic traffic on Loop 610, and people drive like escaped zoo animals. But - the location of it inside the building is fairly convenient - first floor. (The doors and numbering of each are not very intuitive - there aren't huge signs or indications of which business is where. In fact, the building has a menu by the elevator of all the businesses inside, with suite #'s, but no map or reference points). Ergo, it's best to get there a few minutes early to not be rushed and freaking out @ being late, etc.
Once inside the office, they have COVID-friendly portals where you check in, but in my case, the receptionist just helped me. She is also the Blood Taker! (Miss Stephanie) - very sweet lady, on a mission to get you out. She wasted no time in getting my blood drawn and it was as painless as the tap dance of a pixie.
The ease of setting an appointment was also a positive aspect; some of the other LC locations seem more booked up. You will book online, and it's such a simple form, it's actually gratifying - sort of like popping bubble wrap.
If you are in the building and need a snack- because, who doesn't? - you can check out the little cafe that has ice cream and other essentials, like Animal Crackers. (They are hiring, btw - you can thank me later!)
Parking is easy - be careful going into the lot, as it's narrow and nearly a wreck waiting to happen if anyone else is exiting.for example, a big black suburban, with the license plate D-P.oof - thanks to LabCorp for their efficiency and getting me in/out in less than 7 minutes. <3
They were busy but still professional and efficient. I had blood drawn and it was the quickest and least painful I've ever had done! These ladies really know their stuff
DISGUSTED. This facility is not following any face mask or social distancing protocols, despite it having a small lobby containing people who are undoubtedly there to be tested for Covid antibodies. Furthermore, if you need to verify your identity, you will be forced to remove your mask while surrounded by others or be refused services. The front desk receptionist was unreasonable and very rude despite my attempts to respond to her request to show proof of identity without putting my health at risk. Also, bring your own hand sanitizer because they do not provide it.
Rude and it took over a month to get a glucose test back. If you can skip them I suggest you so.
Unlike other people my experience was positive. 5 min wait. Greeted by front desk and then by lab assistant. Will go there again in a heart beat. I generally don’t put reviews but felt the need to this time due to other bad reviews and wanted to set records straight from my point of view. Hope this helps.
When I first entered the employee was extremely rude and barked “We closed! ” and almost pushed me out the door. This was during normal business hours. I went to the north side of 610 LabCorp location and they were extremely nice and we’re happy to help me. I would not go to this location again.
Rude employees! Front desk receptionist refused to answer any of my questions. Only response I got was " i don't know call your insurance" with an attitude. Go to a different labcorp! They tried to charge me over 600 for something that my insurance pays 100%. I called my insurance and they confirmed that they should not have charged me that. I did not pay though. I left when they gave me the amount. Ridiculous.
I usually have no problem with this location except for closing times for lunch that takes longer than what is posted as well as closing before the posted time. I made it here for a drop off lab at 4: 23pm but door was already locked and no one answered my knocks.
The business hours stated that they closed at 5pm. Arrived at 4: 35 pm and learned that they closed at 4: 30pm. The business hour placard next to the Labcorp sign had the business hours scratched out to read 4: 30pm. Very dishonest with business hours.
Went in at 3: 00pm was done at 3: 05. A guy greeted me did took my blood and said in 3 days ill get my results.
I read so many bad review about labcorp near by including this location, so I thought about going to the one in medical center, but for the convenience, I went to the closest location at 1919 north loop.i was there 8: 55am, I was out 9: 20 am. Of course there was no waiting (only one person before me). Ms Sharmein (I am sorry if I misspell) was professional and I was done so quickly.
The receptionist is rude rude ruuuude! If a manager reads this you need to fire this woman who is running everyone off. She is very unprofessional! I wish I could give this place less stars but I will be letting my coworkers and patients who get labs done here know never to come here.
After reading reviews, I had strong reservations about going to this location, but it is the closest to my home. My experience was fine. There was a young (25-34 yr old) man working the front desk. I was not greeted upon arrival, and there only 2 other people in the waiting room. However, I was called back in a timely manner, handled efficiently, & given polite but short answers to my questions.
