If I could give them 5 stars I would! I called another highly-rated local Company and they couldn’t see me the same day and based on photos, quoted me $600-900. Lake Travis Overhead Doors fit me in immediately, repaired the damage in less than 10 minutes, and charged me a fraction of the other company’s quote. Honest, fast, fair-pricing and they know their stuff!

I called about a garage door that had gone off track and what looked like a broken cable. There was some bent metal, looked a little expensive. Doug from LTOD came out to have a look. Instead of giving me a quote he and his assistant started working on it and had it working like new in a short time. Charged me a reasonable fee. Highly recommend!

I first contacted a large competitor and they came out to give me a quote and I was ready to move forward. They gave me a lead time of 1-2 weeks. I then contacted Doug at Lake Travis Overhead Doors to check the price and lead time. I described the broken springs and how many needed to be replaced (Qty 4) and he immediately gave me a quote over the phone that was ~40% less than the other guy. Moreover, he said he could install the spring system the next day. I moved forward with Doug's company (family owned and operated btw) and he completed the install as promised and quoted! I had requested a quote for one broken spring and cable. They fixed that and replaced the rest of the hardwear for the price they quoted me for the one spring and cable. And the quote was about $100 more than me buying the 2 parts and doing this on my own.
Excellent deal, they are now my 'go-to' company for any garage door issues.

Doug is the BEST! We have had multiple issues with our garage doors, and he has been able to come right away, which is awesome. He is very knowledgable, kind, and timely, and has very reasonable prices. We appreciate all he has done to help us and will continue to call him when/if we have more issues. EDIT to owners reply: the owner did schedule a day n time to come by my house. He asked me to text him my address and he would be there on Saturday. Still have the texts. Don’t compound the mistakes as an owner, just admit you messed up. And then to fix it, you should have set a time to follow through and get it done. Instead 4 weeks later you told me you don’t have time anymore. Terrible experience all around with this company.and now it looks like they tried to have my review removed.how many other bad reviews have they tried to delete.

Owner told me to shoot him a text with my address and he would come in 2 days for a garage upgrade. After no showing for over a month, they now say “sorry, we’re booked out at least 6 weeks. ” What a waste of time

I absolutely recommend Doug. I ran into my garage door last night and basically trashed it. I called Doug thinking I was going to need a whole new door, 49 minutes later he shows up and fixes it in less than an hour. Replaced the parts that needed it and fixed the rest. His pricing was more than fair and he knows his stuff. Thank you!

They showed up within 10 minutes of my call. Diagnosed the issue, fixed it on the spot, performed a service and helped program a keypad and new remote. This is the company to call. I wish all home service companies were this efficient and on the mark.

Fantastic service! The friendly team arrived within an hour and not only replaced the parts, but went above and beyond to keep the door working. And the cost was reasonable. I had originally called the other guys who couldn't come out for 5 days, and probably would have done the minimum work for maximum price. I'll never call the other guys again. Lake Travis Overhead is the best!
