I can't say enough about Dr. Launius, and even Lisa. I was in the other day for back pain, and he was very attentive and thorough in his exam. While we were talking, he began to notice other things about my appearance/physicality that are indicative of low thyroid and ADHD. We began discussing all of this, and Dr. Launius spent 45 minutes in the room with me discussing symptoms, educating me on the conditions and the medications he was prescribing, and encouraging me toward health. He said at one point, verbatim, "I'm a systems guy. I want to look at the whole picture. I would hate to just give you pills for your back pain and leave you suffering in all these other ways just because they aren't bad enough yet or you don't know different. I want you healthy and feeling good. " When he left the room to go get the blood draw kit, I began to cry because he had given me so much hope. Gosh. What a great doctor. His nurse Lisa is equally as encouraging. She knows me by name and remembers what we talk about from visit to visit. I appreciate them so much for the major help they gave me! What a blessing from God!
