Lakeshore Learning Store reviews
8Absolutely love coming to Lakeshore, this location has great staff and everything is always so organized!
This is a Great store for teachers. Very education materials. A little pricey, but well worth it. I love shopping here for my grandsons.
A fantastic place to purchase learning and developmental supplies and toys for ages 0 and up! They had little tables with products on display for your child to engage. There was also a good selection for teaching and homeschooling supplies, including a lamination machine. The store was well stocked and clean!
My 7 year old daughter is in a critical year for Christmas and believing. She is testing everything and is so smart. I am trying so hard to keep the magic alive. She decided this year she would only tell her elf and Santa what she wanted from Santa. Her teachers have all been trying to get it out of her. Her twin brother knew what it was but wasn't willingly sharing.
Finally after hours of torture (hahaha) her brother told me that it was unicorns and ponies and it came with a kit.
Well I know that she was looking at the Lakeshore catalog so I went with The Fantasy Adventure. Unfortunately at the time it was backordered online, neither store in NJ had the item and I was at a loss. I have some family in Dallas so I tried there, they were sold out. I also have family in San Antonio so I thought maybe if they had it, my family could get it and mail it up to me.
WELL, I called Lakeshore in San Antonio and spoke with Vince. Speaking to Vince was like speaking to the head Elf in charge who handles transportation. The store did not have any of the item in stock, BUT Vince looked it up and found one at another store that could ship to him asap. He then told me he would call me when he had it in hand so I could pay for it and my family could go pick it up. Well, HE DID CALL ME! He told me they had the set and that he would be happy to mail it to me, making all of our lives even easier!
Within a week I received the gift and am SO SO excited for Christmas and SO SO THANKFUL to Vince and his whole team for making Christmas dreams come true! Thank You!
I have never had such amazing customer service. Thank YOU!
I took my daughter here for her birthday today. They have a wide array of educational tools and toys. There was so much to look at my daughter didn't want to leave.
As a new customer I had plenty of help from associates. I liked the store because they had a huge selection of decor and manipulative classroom materials.
Great if you teach kindergarten or elementary school. Not so much if you're a high school teacher.
I've ordered countless items from the website but my first time in the store was a nightmare. The free craft day left the employees overwhelmed, annoyed and curt with everyone, one was looking at me angry and not responding to me when my son started crying. If they don't like kids here it's no problem for me since I won't ever be going back.
