Lakewood Crossing Park reviews
15Nice bike trails you can walk on also. Small skatepark but nice. Several playgrounds for different ages.
Outdoor park with plenty of parking. Several swings and a skating ramp.
Not the best paths for rollwr skating, but they are great for running and bike riding.
Could use some added light fixtures for safety around dusk.
We went for the skate ramps but enjoyed the park overall. Easy to keep an eye but not stay too close to the pre-teens.
This is a great park because of the shade! The swings are also covered so during a light rain this is still a viable outdoor location.
Awesome little track. Can send the kids on laps. Do a little jog yourself. Lots of picnic tables under on large gazebo. So e equipment has been abused though so the park is showing it's age. Overall fun times for the kids. Also they have a 12ft "climbing wall" (its more a ladder than a climbing thing)
Parking super limited only down side. Also don't remember any barbecue pits.
Everything about this park stands out to be one of the best in the area. Hiking. Bicycling. Skate park. More hiking! Friendly community and I mean it. Friendly. I love seeing our friends there. Huge playground for the children and always very nice temperature thanks to the abundance of trees
Great lil shady Park when a maintained. Lots of mosquitos so bring something to combat with that
Cool shaded park here for the kiddos. Nothing extraordinary though. Nothing has changed in 10 years though.
There are alot of trees so even on the hottest day, there is still shade and it's a few degrees cooler.
Squirrels are friendly and will almost eat out of your hand.
We honestly love this park because of all the shade. The only downside is that it's one of the only parks with no restrooms. Makes it hard to wanna bring snacks and drinks for my kids.
Lovely park with a kid-friendly playground and a skatepark which is awesome for teens. Walking trail around the river is beautiful and serene. Awesome spot for a picnic with friends, they have this great covered patio with benches (and fans! - with lights!).
I have so many amazing memories at this place. Lovely park to visit. <3
This was a nice park in all. I wish the play grounds were kept up though. Couple of broken things that kids could get hurt on. The swings looked like they needed new chain as well. Other then that the park was clean.
We love this park, however it needs a bathroom. Otherwise it's got play room enough for young ones and older ones. Plus a small structure for skateboarding and wooded trails for waking and biking. Just hard to spend more than an hour there with no restroom.
In Houston, a park with shade is worth gold. We frequent this park because it has a play area for small children, a play area for older children a small skate park and a trail. It also has a very large covered pavilion with many tables and exercise equipment around the perimeter of the park on the walking trail if that's your thing! The park also backs up to a very large trail system that is very nice as well. Parking is very limited.
This is an ok park for the kids to play.
They have a small playground for the smaller kids and a bigger one for the older kids.
The skate park is for the more advanced kids. My daughter couldn't even get on the first level. Lol.
It looked like no one has every cleaned up the leaves. The leaves was mixed with trash on the ground. They don't have a bathroom there either.
I found this park googling skate parks near me, and it's a hidden gym! Three kids and they each had something to do! Tball, roller skates, and a bike on the ramps and the sidewalks that do a big circle around the playground. Toddler and the older kid playground were a plus. They have a bike trail through the "woods, " and it was a peaceful spot with plenty of families, so it felt safe.
