Dr. Slaughter is kind and patient and is very focussed on the details of the dental issue in question. Even tho the office was busy on this day, I was seen and my concern was addressed.

Had a great experience with Lakewood Family dental. They were able to fit me in and really helped me get to the root of the problem. Everyone was so kind, attentive and accommodating with my schedule. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Theresa was a great help with everything!

Lakewood Dental is great! My previous dentist retired and when I found Dr. Reid Slaughter & Hygenist MelissaI knew I was at home. You feel like family! I had an emergency on a Holiday weekend and received a call back shortly from Dr. Slaughter on what I should do. I was referred quickly to help my situation. I would highly recommend.

Jody called me back on her day off to schedule me for a cleaning! I would say that goes way above and beyond. She was so sweet and patient with me as I haven’t been in for years! Totally recommend!

As usual, my appointment was very pleasant. From the moment
I entered their office until I left, I was greeted with a smile, and treated with respect by a very professional staff.

“Family” is indeed their middle name. From the time you make an appointment to the time you pay your bill, everyone (yes everyone) is a delight to work with. I recently had questions about insurance and Sheana took all the time I needed to help me understand the issues. I thought of a couple more questions, called back and she cheerfully responded. So glad my daughter recommended her dentist, Lakewood, when we relocated here. Thanks y’all!

I had some dental trauma as a kid, so I'm always a bit nervous about going to the dentist. But this practice is so kind and understanding! Kathy is my favorite hygienist ever. She never makes me feel like a big whiny baby — instead she gets me a fuzzy blanket, hooks up the nitrous, and takes extra care to be gentle. If you have to get some work done, and don't have dental insurance, their in-office membership plan is definitely worth it. I'm very grateful to have Lakewood Family Dental just down the street.

The staff and providers at Lakewood Family Dental have been excellent. It’s a very family friendly environment. I have to bring my toddler with me and they have been so accommodating. I’ve had a lot of dental work completed here and their pricing was upfront and well explained. It is evident that Dr. Slaughter is a knowledgeable practitioner. His assistant, Norma, is also very skilled and professional. My significant other went to the other dentist in the practice and had a positive experience as well. I’ve been to a chain dental practice in Dallas that gave an unreasonable and criminal-like quote for the work I needed. Needless to say, Lakewood Dental has restored my faith in dentistry.

Very friendly team at Lakewood Family Dental, starting with Jody and Alicia when you walk in the door. My Dental Hygienist Wendy was very attentive to detail and provided a great cleaning experience. Dr. Farmer was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
