Lambs Tire & Automotive reviews
18The team at Lamb’s are quick, responsive and dependable. We are grateful to have them in our neighborhood
10/10 services! I was lucky enough to get same day services (on a Saturday!), and the people are so nice! Prices were great, my husband will be taking his car in on Tuesday and I'll be back in the spring for new tires!
I called Lambs from a gas station 25 min until closing time on a Friday. Tire, completely flat and the fix it in a can didn't work. Brandon, the manager answered and then drove to the gas station, filled my tire enough to make it to the shop and alerted his guys that is be coming. With his finger in the hole in the tire, it barely got enough air. I drove straight to Lambs and the bay was ready for me. They're fixing the tire now. WOW and thank you is all I can say. Brandon and his guys helped me out where I'm not sure what would happen next. I can't thank them enough. On a Friday and at closing time. So much appreciation.
My first time at the place. The service was great and it went smoothly. Time of wait was reasonable. Price to test/diagnosis for battery, starter, and alt in my hybrid vehicle is very very reasonable if compared to the dealership. They identified the issue and resolved it. Great communication.
I had a hole in my tire. Brought car in and my guy Roel said it would take 2 to 3 hours. 2.5 hours later he texted me and said it was fixed.
Great service. Set the expectations. Got the job done
Will use again.
Brandon is a terrific service writer. Five star excerpt for the wait. Which means they are popular
Brandon was terrific and went over everything with me. He is definitely an asset for your business.
I really appreciate how thorough they are in their services and making sure that when you bring your vehicle in, they will check everything so they can catch if something needs attention.
Brandon and Roel are great and very helpful.
Very prompt and fast turn around. Good service and employees were very friendly and helpful.
Lamb’s was great! Alex was so good at communicating what they could and couldn’t do for me and also went above and beyond to find cheaper tires for me.
Will definitely be using Lamb’s again!
They were so quick with my state inspection and super friendly and nice to work with. Thank you!
I dropped off my Jeep for a tire fix. They quoted me a price and a pick up time, both of which were met. Then Lambs filled up the other 3 tires to match the same psi, yes I am a Dad. I'm going with 5 stars. It seems simple enough, but it's a detail which is super important that I didn't have to ask for.
I'm confident I will be there for other automotive issues.
Told them my car was overheating and leaking coolant. They diagnosed it and told me it would be $700 to change the radiator hoses. Wrong diagnosis and I had the hoses changed for $200. I’m sure they knew that wasn’t the source of the issues and wanted me to pay for another visit. Apparently they like to get as much as they can out of you.
Went for a tire change, Saturday walk-in. Was out in a couple of hours. Good service and location.
We’ve been using Lamb’s for years—always great customer service and they are constantly helping us find ways to save money. Family owned business and is shows!
Lamb’s was absolutely great! I’m visiting from out of town and had a nail in my tire. I had to do some highway driving and was in a bit of a time crunch. They took care of my problem right away and were so helpful. Thank you, Lamb’s!
I had a loud rumbling noise coming from my car driving at high speeds that I needed a diagnosis and repair for. They quoted and charged me $124.95 for the diagnosis which I gladly paid. They asked me to leave the car with them and they were able to get back to me in a couple hours. Their diagnosis and recommended repair was to replace my front driver side wheel hub and bearing and quoted me $1000. I didn't bother to ask for the itemized bill because $1000 seemed too high. I declined the repair and researched that the national average cost of this repair was $450. I decided to get a quote from 2 other places for the repair in Austin that gave me a quote around $460. The diagnosis was correct and I was able to get my car repaired at a different auto shop for half the price.
Pros:
- Professional, quick, and knowledgeable
Cons:
- Not transparent on repair recommendation cost (no itemization)
- Overpriced
