Oil change is a breeze. In and out with little wait. Very friendly people and very helpful.

I popped in on their busy work day with low tire pressure warning at the start of a three hour drive this morning. They took a look. Aired my tire and gave me a good feeling about rest of my trip.
They were great! And I’m appreciative of their very quick attention to my little issue.

Over priced. Wanted almost $150 to swap 4 tires on the rim. Other places in town it was around $60.

I feel like writing a review for a tire shop would be on my “probably not going to happen list” lol. But I do feel the need to give a shout-out to this company! My son and I were on the road back from Port Aransas to Smithville. In Golliad I had a flat on a desolate stretch of road. I put the donut on and proceeded the stretch home. In Cuero I decided to check my tire pressure again and realized that another tire had a bubble in it. Which I knew was an emergency situation. Now I drive a Lexus which has performance tires. They are typically always special order and not in stock. Not the best car to need emergency tire changes and being 78 miles from home. I pulled into Lantz Tire, flustered and emotionally drained from my situation and simply just wanted to get my son and I home. I was met by a very friendly staff. The woman was very warm and assured me that they would help get me home. A few moments of waiting She came back and told me that the tires for my car were not In stock (no surprise for me). Maybe it was the look of defeat, the possible tears forming in my eyes at that moment. She must have seen despair in my eyes, The desperation to just get home, she then said she would call other tire shops and “see what she could do”
An hour later a man came out and updated me that they found a tire and the woman I had been talking with was going to get it from another local tire shop. I could just drive slowly with my donut home. But no fear of a blowout with my bubble tire being replaced. I already felt so relieved. Another 30 minutes and I am told that they are almost finished with my car.
As checking out, they informed me they found another tire and replaced my donut. They charged me for a flat for this tire change (the donut). And again told me they just want to make sure we get home safe.
They are really the epitome of what small businesses in small towns are: taking care of people. I left so impressed by their professionalism but also with their kind and caring acts. Any business could have taken advantage of my misfortune, or just simply turn us away. They did not.
Always choose small business over big business. Lantz went above and beyond for us! Thank you all again!

Very much a go to place, fast and friendly service. Great for registration inspection, take you in line and usually very quick.

They do it all, and will work on your car until they get it right. Accessible and available!

Guys went out of there way to help me fix my flat when it was below freezing and in a power outage.
