Lara’s hair salon, Forney TX

I went to Lara’s yesterday and Laura was who worked on my hair. She was very knowledgeable and really understood my concerns. The color and cut were both amazing, both Lara and Laura were so sweet. I am so glad I made the choice to go there!

This is my second time coming to Lara’s salon. I am so fortunate to of found her. I moved here about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I have been to several salons but was never fully satisfied with my results. #1 She is the Sweetest Lady, Very Good at what she does. She listens to what you want to have done but makes sure to discuss with you if you need to do something different to keep your hair in good shape. That is very important. I had a friend who was a beautician. She was so good but if someone wanted to do something that would really damage your hair she would not do it. She had to try to repair ladies hair all the time when someone eles did whatever people wanted. When I moved from Houston to Oklahoma she became my friend and my beautician after I had abused my hair for 10 yrs. We are not professionals so I am so glad that I have found her and now Lara who will help me do the right thing. I am now in my 60’s and I have colored and permed my hair for yrs so it is not in the best shape. I know I should just leave it alone but the gray is creeping in. Go to Lara’s. She will definitely take care of you. She is a very hard working Lady and will always be there for you?

If you want to find a hairdresser that will accommodate what you want and keep you involved throughout the haircut with check-ins, then look no further than Lara, though perhaps the cut isn't as precise as you might want it.

After some tone corrections during the appointment, I thought it looked alright. However, when I looked at it in natural lighting later, my hair looked more brassy/orange than I had noticed during my appointment. I ended up coming back asking for a fix of the brassiness, and Lara was accommodating and applied an ash toner, which made the color something I was happy with. I ended up being satisfied with my overall color, but I later noticed that my haircut was a bit off. I had one section of hair that was falling a few inches longer than the rest, sticking out oddly. I had to trim it myself.

I have been going to this hair dresser for sometime now even though I enjoy the service Lara provides one of hair dresser working there has been rude to me more than once and today was the worst experience I have ever had in any business. Today when I called for an appointment, I was told that owner was in vacation and booked next two weeks. When I repeated that I was looking for an appointment in August, she repeated that owner is booked next two weeks, and when I asked to clarify that she can't book an appointment in August, in the middle of my sentence she hung up on me and when I called back she did not pick up yet my daughter called back she did. It is not acceptable in any business to hang up the phone while customer is talking.

I went to see Laura today and left feeling amazing. I decided to get a haircut on a whim and called on a Tuesday for a Wednesday morning appointment. I was greeted immediately and Laura took care of me. I am experiencing some hair loss and she took the time to listen and did a phenomenal job cutting my hair. My hair was at my mid back and she cut it into an angled bob. It looks amazing. I am very pleased with the service and will definitely be back.

I took my mom to cut her hair before she starts her radio and quimio therapy. The nice lady that I forgot her name (apologies so many things in my mind), she was incredible! Love her. We will definitely come back

Lara is very sweet and an outstanding stylist, best at color correction that I've experienced ever!
