Las Carretas reviews
26This was the BEST FOOD I have had in a really long time! Clean restaurant & friendly staff. Our waitress was Sandra & she was awesome! I had the Floutas plate & my boyfriend had enchiladas.both were fantastic! I can't wait to go back!
Always a good medium for Mexican food. While I've had varying meals and drink choices, this place does a good job and keeping the taste consistent.
They also sell pan dulce, and other Mexican candies!
This place is very good. It’s quiet and relaxing A good place with awesome customer service and great food! Their margaritas are extremely well made and yummy as well! I highly recommend this place.
Great atmosphere, very clean and great customer service. I had the pork chop plate and it was spot on delicious. My wife had the huevos ranchero plate and it was just as good. I highly recommend this place. They also have a panaria, which the sweet bread we got was delicious.
Absolutely great food! Been going here for years! Food and customer service are always fantastic!
First time here and the food was delicious. The Pan dulce was awesome as well. I'm so glad I found it on line. If you've never been here, this is a must try place. Everyone was very nice. I will be a returning customer
Been coming here for years! Great tacos, (huge). I've never had a bad meal myself. Always packed and that's a good sign.
Our new favorite Mexican restaurant in a city filled with great ones! The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. The decor is unpretentious, which we appreciate. There are actually two dining spaces, so if you don't see the restrooms, they're on the other side. My workmates said the margaritas and micheladas were excellent as well. Overall, the prices are very reasonable for the quality - highly recommend checking it out for yourself!
If you want a genuine Mexican lunch or dinner, you cannot find a better place to dine in San Antonio. Avoid the tourist traps and the Riverwalk, the Mercado is a joke. The only thing negative is finding the street, but once you do you are in for a great treat. Wonderful food, genuine real deal
We had a waiterss that did a lousy job she didn't even attend us she gave us what we didn't order and then didn't even refill my coffee at all some other waitress did. My waitress was standing around with her hand behind her back. I didn't even leave her a tip cause her service was bad I give her a negative 4 star.
If you like breakfast tacos that's then this is the place to go! The servers are attentive and very friendly.
Las carretas is a very great place to eat if you are looking for a resturant but its a good place for kids too! But i love when i go in the morning and they give you like a mickey mouse/minne mouse shaped pancakes they are delish!
Food is delicious but the reasons for two stars are two of their waitress they are very rude and watch out for the cashier she will over charge other then that I would've gave it a four
Had the Mexican dinner with an enchilada, a tamale, a taco, and guacamole salad. Yeah, I went for the boring Tex Mex staples, and I don't regret it. The meal was awesome! My kids also cleaned their plates, so satisfaction all around. They seemed short staffed, but our server did an excellent job.
Been going there over 5 year's to meet up with friend's for lunch. Waitresses are friendly and food is always good.
Didn't know about this place since it's not in our part of town, but I'm glad we came here. Great food with that home cooked feel. Good portions, and friendly staff. Our mother's day breakfast was awesome!
It's first time eating here. It wasn't bad, food and service was good. It's ok to go with family and friends.
Just good Mexican food at a good price! Always dependable. Enchiladas Potacena, Steak Tampacino deluxe, and the Shrimp cocktails and the Giant carne Guisada Burrito. Are my favorites
Great tex-mex plates in a casual family setting. Portions are big for the price, definitely get more than you pay for. Food is hot and made fresh. Plates come out super hot. Frijoles ala charra are good and the tortillas are homemade. Don't miss the traditional pan dulce at the bakery area. All in all a good restaurant.
