Las Fuentes Mexican Restaurant, Hempstead TX

First off, why is it so expensive!? !? $28.04 for queso & quesildillas only? Quesadilla were super greasy and queso was as thin as water. Super disappointed ️

Yuck! Enchiladas were so salty, beef in them was like hard road gravel. Sauce tasted somewhat like ketchup. Not very clean way overpriced. Save yourself some money and time go to the taco bus across the street. Better food much cleaner nicer people.

Too expensive. Even lunch specials were $12.00 after taxes. Portion was not impressive. Place looked a little dirty everywhere I looked and it smells like beer. Young waiter was nice but due to food quality, somewhat dirty kitchen area and bathrooms, and higher prices, we won t return. Maybe they do good at night with the bar crowd, so maybe that's how they make it. We love Mexican food and dine Mexican at least three times a week. There are other better places around.

First time there. Great food and great service. Be prepared for constant monitoring by bus girl. A little uncomfortable if you're not used to it.

The waiters and service are amazing. The food is awesome. A little pricy, but is good. Go on Saturday night to see Cherokee.

I should have listened to the negative reviews. The people posting good reviews must be passing through from out of town - definitely not from Texas. I’d rather have Taco Bell. Only reason for 2nd star is there was nothing bad to say about the cheese quesadillas my kids got. Enchiladas were not good, cheese on nachos was the consistency of water, queso dip was bland… really wish I had something better to say

To expensive.one salad for more than $ 20.00.is to much.and.they charge for the salsa.that's incredible. I went to a lot of restaurants.and never charges for the salsa.and the service.to slow.

Food was disgusting and tasted burnt and rotten it made me throw up the place was dirty and smelt like cigarettes and they took forever to bring our food out and didnt even know what they were charging us for.

The cookers needs may be to do the good with love ️ the food has no taste, the only thing was good was the cheese and toast

As someone posted previously, not the best but not the worst. The service was good. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas and the chicken was very dry. We won't be going back.

The food was great I got beef fajitas, wich were good AF! My son ate the fajitas al carbon. Said they were better than our own tex mex joint back home! So, yea over all 4 outa 5 star, the waitresses were onpoint, queso was tasty, food was fantastic. My only gripe, is the $3.25 for cheese and sour cream, wich comes standard in Texas? Anyway I'll still come back absolutely, as much as we dip around Hempstead, OH, also the UNSWEETENED tea with lemon, so so good, fresh AF, this place yall have out here is a gem!

Visiting area as dropping child at college. Had Tacos Al Carbon (Beef Fajita). Comes with refried beans and rice plus "fixins" (guac, pico and lettuce). They serve chips and salsas (warm red and cool avocado jalapeño). All was yummy and portion size was perfect. Service was good but slow.

This was a great accident! I was driving through Hempstead and saw the sign for Las Fuentes. The restaurant was nice and clean and the wait staff was attentive. I enjoyed the food and service.

Food was delicious and the margaritas where on point! Our waitress was awesome and may I say very beautiful as well.will definitely be goin back
