Las Palapas reviews
28Made a take out order inside the restaurant. Food was ready within 15 minutes. Came home and the order was accurate and delicious.
For it being a bit slow they sure as hell get your order wrong! My husband had to return the order to get the correct order and the manager had no idea what to do. Tried offering the wrong order back to us. Finally got the correct order.
We are from Houston, it's a tradition every year we go to Fiesta Texas we have to come here to eat. We have been doing this for at least 8 years in a row. (except last year) Great Food, Great Service!
It was for my ex for Fathers Day. I made breakfast but he loves Menudo. So I had to get it on Sat.and warmed up for him on Sunday morning. He said it was OK. But Las Palapas was very busy with their drive thru. I ordered it over the phone found parking got out and it was ready for me. Very good experience on the phone and in person.
The staff here is usually on top of things but today was the third time in the past year I've come early morning and been told they can't take any orders or some version of that.
What is going on?
Their Monterey enchiladas are my favorite in San Antonio. And this location has the best service of all the Las Palapas’.
Hot fresh and quick. Remember it is made to order. Smiles and great customer service at the window! Keep it up!
I couldn't get deliver through one of their delivery partners so I called up to the restaurant to place an order to go and was hung up on. So I made the drive over and went through the drive-thru which took a long time and they ended up parking me to get my order ready. The take out containers for my enchilada plates were pretty flimsy. I've been to other locations and I've gotta say service is better at the other locations than this one.
Service was great, the food was good I had chicken soup and my husband had a combination played that included taco enchiladas, rice and beans with guacamole and tortillas. I ate to much need to walk it off when all I want to do is sleep. Would definitely recommend!
Las Palapas on Blanco Road is Always on the Mark Polite and professional. I will always visit that site!
I go to this location often considering i work close by. But today was the first time i had issues. One of the girls at the register was extremely rude when i asked her to take avocado & sour cream off my order. She then gave me my change with out a receipt. I asked a different girl for a copy of my receipt and she was super nice about it, when i got my receipt she shorted me a couple of dollars so i asked for it and she got a even bigger attitude for nothing & not to mention she didn’t hand me my change instead set it on the counter while i had my hand out? Super rude. When i got back to work to eat the meat was pink, not even properly cooked.
There's has been times.
I don't have the tacos, I ordered so that tells me. I got someone else's order, and I got stuck with their bean & Cheese and they got my Bbq/Picadio tacos. To go back. It's more of a problem with traffic. Other than that, they do have good service, the fact that I've gotten wrong order. It happens. In all restaurants. But you hate going back to get them done right! And then you worry are they going too spit on it
Las Palapas serves authentic Tex Mex cuisine and has maintained affordable prices in a market saturated with restaurants. My own favorite is the breakfast menu plate - "Huevos a la Mexicana". Scrambled eggs with chopped jalapenos, onions and tomato. Served with refried beans, fried potatoes, and tortillas. Very popular with high school students and the porcine locals. It's cheap.
This is honestly the best Las Palapas location I have been to. The safe was amazing, Kevin our waiter was awesome and even though the kitchen messed up on my order they were very apologetic and remade it. It tasted like authentic Mexican food and not like other locations. I will definitely go back!
Had the enchiladas con crema, and oh my goodness it is amazing. Service was great. The taco asada was a little weak, but I will be dreaming about those enchiladas.
Love this place. Homemade tortillas and the price for what you get isfantastic. This location's service is always very very good.
One of my favorite Mexican places in SA. It's been around forever. I always get chicken puffy tacos. The salsa is very good. This location doesn't serve alcohol.
This is one of the best Las Palapas I've been too. It tastes like actual Mexican food and not fast food. Staff was also wonderful
Its ok just regular mexican food to me.the shredded chicken in the tortilla soup is pretty good
The Tortilla soup was delicous! I'm trying to do low carb and had them hold the tortilla chips and rice. Yumm!
