Las Rocas Mexican Cocina reviews
20Great food and great service. I ordered the Luis plate with a Prickly Pear marg and it was delicious.
Always seems to be busy here with parking hard to find, I'm guessing it must be the bar service. The food was cold, and needing more flavor to the meat and beans, waiters are nice but slow.
The staff has always been friendly and I have eaten there many times and has been great but the last time I ate there it was like a different cook was there or something. The beans were watery, my sour cream sauce was thin and not what it normally is and the same for my mom's meal. It just wasn't up to the normal standard they normally have. Again a nice clean and friendly place but missed the mark on flavor and presentation.
This used to be our favorite place. The food is good but this last time was not the atmosphere for family. There was inappropriate language and discussions going on at the bar from customer and staff loudly enough my family could hear at a table. We won’t be returning.
If I could, I would give it a lower score, friendly staff but really its food is very unpleasant or at least what we ordered to eat is supposed to be a tilapia ala diabla and they leave me with a fillet in a sauce of who knows what but terrible flavor apart from the vegetables they seemed more like a sponge than vegetables.the tasteless broth resembled salt water. I wouldn't really recommend it apart from the fact that they give you what they want and not what you ask for, their seasoning is not to my liking. And they take too long to bring your order.
They are absolutely amazing, I had the fajita mix platter, and it was awesome Stay Cool, go eat at LasRocus Mexican restaurant in Princeton, You'll Love it all!
Me and my family have been scammed multiple times, all by the same person. There are a couple of good waitresses but other than that we will never go back again
I was paying cash. They charge me a credit card processing fee. Then got mad because I told him I was paying cash. I was told that it was a mandatory tax. He got mad, then took it off.
First time eating here. It was really good! I only gave 4 stars because the salsa was a little too spicy for our group, but the food was delicious. I ordered the Acapulco, the shredded chicken in the sour cream enchilada was really flavorable. The cheese dip we ate instead of salsa was also really good. The chips are big and can hold a lot of stuff on them. The service was great too. We will definitely be going back!
The food is good but I ordered some brisket tacos and they gave me barbecue. I don't like people being deceived. You go to eat and ask for something you want and they bring you something else
Not sure about all the extra fees on the receipt. Texas only has a straight 8.25% tax?
Taxes and Extra Fees where 20%. Is that even legal?
I ordered the lunch enchiladas with green sauce, rice, and beans. It was alright, but nothing spectacular. However, there wasn't anything wrong with it either. The chips and salsa were delicious, and once our order was taken, the waitress was on her A fame. It was quite busy, so we did wait about 20 minutes before we finally ordered. I would return.
Everything was great! Our servers name was Koby and she took great care of us! Koby engaged with my 8 year old son and she was so sweet. The food was delicious and service was fast.
North Texas doesn't have many authentic Mexican restaurants North of Dallas. This one was better than most but still considered average to me. Husband ordered the Barbacoa plate, which was not the Barbacoa that we know it to be in South Texas; it was literally shredded roast. The tortillas were decent but not home made, they were straight from the package. I had the sopes with lengua, refried beans and Mexican rice. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor.
I read reviews on the margaritas and I would rate them 4. The michelada was also rated a 4. We had a server that was new but she was very attentive. I believe her name was Koby or Kory.
This was not one of my favorites. A drunk guy walked in and sat next to us and started to talk to us. He wanted to know if it was ok to sit there and if someone would serve him. No one acknowledged him at all. Finally he said I guess no one is gonna help me and left.
As for the food, don't order anything that comes in a sauce most likely it will not taste good and may be old or dry. And what is cc charge?
Always a great experience. Service is friendly and prompt. Food is always right on. One of our favorite places to eat.
Friendly staff and clean facility. 5 minutes to get my food and it was tasty. Menu has many options. Lots of parking.
We have come probably 4x and loved the food. This last time, the food was off. Don't know if it was us or them, but we left disappointed. Come anyway, you'll like something on the menu!
Very good food! I've ordered from here twice on delivery, before I went to the restaurant. I had the ribeye fajitas, and they're amazing. We had a large group, with 3 kiddos, and everyone ate their food and had no complaints.
The food was good here the problem was the waitstaff was not as good I don't know if our girl just had too many tables or they were too scattered or what but I know after we had finished staying we set there over 15 minutes waiting on a check and then another 10 waiting on our Cc to come back
