LaVida Massage Pflugerville

If I had the option, I wouldn't even give a single star. The management at this place is incredibly subpar. They refuse to cooperate under any circumstances, plain and simple. My wife and I were en route to LaVida when we unfortunately got into an accident, causing us to miss our appointment. Upon calling to request a reschedule for a later available slot, we were met with resistance from the front desk. They rigidly cited policies and claimed that their automated system left no room for exceptions. It was disheartening to witness a complete lack of empathy or understanding from the manager or anyone physically present at the front desk regarding our situation. It felt more like a money-focused operation than a customer-oriented service—almost like a scam.

I tried reaching out to your receptionist earlier to inquire about the availability of a couple's appointment on 12/01/2023 at 1: 45 PM. Unfortunately, my wife and I encountered an accident, and despite our best efforts, we arrived at the salon at 2: 30 PM. We promptly informed the receptionist about the situation, explaining that we were unable to make it on time and requested a new time slot. I'm uncertain about the documentation you may require about incident.

I received an outstanding massage from Journey today which will make a great start to my week. Pooja is a great receptionist and makes my appointments with ease.

Awesome massage. One of the reasons I am posting here is so I won’t lose track of this business location. I was in pflugerville from the DFW area. We called these ladies on the fly with no appointment. They said cmon over. I will come here the next time I’m in ATX.

I had my first facial with Zara and it was amazing. I enjoyed it very much and she was great! I recommend her to anyone seeking a much needed facial. Customer service with Pooja was great. She offered the membership benefits and explained everything to me. Overall customer service and experience was really great!

This place is a scam, went in to book a couple massage, was met by some person on a television screen and what looked like an Alexa speaker. Said the people were busy with customers. Only thing that this person from who knows where ask was name email and credit card. Nothing about services, pricing, I told him no thank you.
Called later on same day to speak to someone about booking couples massage.
Same person (sounded) said he was with LA Vida. I said I will be right down to office, told me he could book it all, I said I needed to speak to someone at office, said no one is available.
Then just flat out asked if there was anyone in the office, he said no.
A company that just has a fake storefront and right away just ask for payment information is a scam beware of this place.

Your way of doing business in my eye's is a classic scam.
Who in their right mind would give name email and payment information before getting any answers. A customer in my eyes at least needs to feel secure they are getting what they want.
Answer questions about goods and or services, with clear understanding for customer. Also answer questions on cost of goods or services for the customer. Then you come to agreement on service or goods company is providing and agreement with customer on cost for such goods or services.
Then you agree to payment type.
Your (company) simply wanted payment information before any thing else, I have read reviews of over charging after services were rendered. Clearly to me there issues with your business plan.

Worst experience ever. My wife went in for a 90 minute massage with a female. We got there and a male came out to give her the massage. He was able to get a female to switch but could only do a 60 minute session. Within the first 10 minutes of the session my wife heard a loud pop. The lady said she popped bone back into place. (Nothing was out of place before). Twenty minutes later my wife was in so much pain, she asked her to stop. My wife had to sit up and lady kept massaging her until my wife told her she couldn't take it anymore. She felt so sick, she threw up in the trash can that was in the room. We asked to speak to the manager and the man at the front said I would have to email the man, which I did and it has been over a week and still no response.

Booking appointments is easy and staff is always friendly. I’ve already recommended this place to several people.

The massages were quite good, but the pricing was misleading and miscommunicated.

I called to inquire about the costs of a couple’s massage and was told it’d be $99.95 for both of us. I clarified if this was for each or both, and the staff on the call said it was for both. They have your card on file so they do not need you to pay after your massage. I received an email several minutes after I left with a receipt detailing $99.95 for each person for a total of $200— which was not properly communicated.

I felt incredibly misled and when I communicated this to the staff on the phone they were adamant that it was $99.95 per head, using different language than my initial call.

Massages are a luxury and should be priced so that the masseuse gets compensated fairly, but the communication between consumer and management needs to improve.

Ultimately, the prices are fair but definitely would have appreciated the real cost up front instead of what transpired.:/

*Hopefully my final comment: I was a new member and called to inquire as I’m fairly new to the Pflugerville area. Again, the person on the phone said $99.95 for BOTH of us, not for EACH. It is not a surprise that this language is confusing. I admit that I should have been diligent and checked the website, but you can’t fully blame a new consumer who called to inquire and trusted your word.

How are you going to cancel my appointment and tell me that you called me. If y'all don't want to work on a Sunday. Then, change your hrs so you'll don't have to lie to your clients! Some of us don't have the luxury to come during the week. I really hope y'all can figure this simple thing out. Y'all have a great day. I would do 0 stars but 1 is the lowest I could do!

Went early to my appointment I scheduled. Got there waited 15 minutes to be told if was going to be another 15 minutes before started. Your schedule sometimes for a reason.

Going to sleep after an amazing massage by Shula, already feeling the benefits of her work! Amazing first experience today, and will be back soon.

Got our second couples massage a week ago and Journey was amazing. I was have a bunch of back pains prior and the work she did relieved so much of it. Still her work has held up and will be requesting her on future appointments.

Love this place. Very nice management extraordinary massage experience. Lots of different services. A+ business.

I stopped in to buy a gift card for my wife. I was told that since she had been there one time 4 1/2 years ago for a massage and was already in their system, that she would be charged their regular price of $99 for 30 minutes total. So the time for their required consultation and for undressing/dressing is taken out of that 30 minutes. So at best she, would get a 15-20 massage for $100. Nope! That is wayyyyy overpriced for what you actually get, not happening. So, the way I understand this is the prices that they advertise are only honored 1 time in your lifetime. I ended up buying her a gift card for her to get her nails and toes done instead. I will never return to LaVida Massage, and if I ever receive a gift card for them it's either being given away or thrown in the trash.
